Քաղաքագետ Գագիկ Համբարյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

«Մի ստե՛ք, Նիկոլը չի կարող գեթ մեկ գերու հարց լուծել

ԱԺ պատգամավոր Նազելի Բաղդասարյանը, ցավոք, հավատալով, թե կատարելով դավաճան Նիկոլի պատվերը գերիների հարցում, ըստ որի «ընդդիմադիրների հանարհավաքների պատճառով է, որ մեր գերիներին Բաքուն հետ չի վերադարձնում", իր հարցազրույցներից մեկում հայտարարել է."Որոշակի գործընթացներ կային, և մենք դեռ նախորդ շաբաթ սպասում էինք մեր հայրենակիցների վերադարձին, բայց նաև, թույլ տվեք ասել, որոշակիորեն ներքաղաքական զարգացումները դրանց խոչընդոտեցին»։

Այս ապուշ թեզը, թե ընդդիմադիրների պատճառով են, որ գերիները չեն վերադարձվում, հրապարակ է նետվել հենց վարչապետի աթոռը զբաղեցնող թերուսի կողմից, որը մինչև հիմա չի բացատրել իր այս հայտարարության հիմքերը... Թերուս Նիկոլն ու իր թիմակիցներն այդ հիմար թեզն առաջ տանելով մի քանի հարց են լուծում.

1.Ընդդիմադիրներին մեղադրելով քողարկում են սեփական անճարությունը... Բոլորի համար էլ պարզ է, որ Իլհամի կողմից նվաստացված և նսեմացված Նիկոլը չի կարող հավասարը հավասարի հետ բանակցել Բաքվի բռնապետի հետ և ինչ-որ հարցեր, այդ թվում նաև գերիների վերադարձի հարցերը լուծել...

2. Ընդդիմադիրներին մեղադրելով, դավաճան Նիկոլը նրանց դեմ է հանում գերեվարված և անհետ կորած զինվորների հարազատներին՝ կիրառելով "ուրիշի ձեռքերով կրակից շագանակ հանելու" քաղաքականությունը... Այսինքն՝ վերջիններիս միջոցով ճնշում է ընդդիմությանը և փակում ընդդիմադիրների բերանները... 

Մինչև հիմա դավաճանն  ու դրան սպասարկողները չեն պարզաբանել և բացատրել, թե ընդդիմադիրների հանրահավաքները և բողոքներն ի՞նչ կապ ունեն գերիների վերադարձի հետ... 

Գերիների վերադարձը դանդաղում է ոչ միայն այն պատճառով, որ Հայաստանում վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնում է ազգադավ Նիկոլը, որին Իլհամը բանի տեղ չի դնում և գերիների հարցով հետը չի էլ բանակցում, այլև այն պատճառով, որ նույն դավաճան Նիկոլը, երբ ՌԴ-ի միջնորդությամբ պատերազմից հետո 44 գերիների հետ վերադարձվեցին հայրենիք, փորձեց դա սեփականաշնորհել և ինքնագովազդվել, որը Մոսկվայում շատ դժկամությամբ ընդունվեց... 

Ի դեպ, մարտի 1-ին դավաճան Նիկոլի կողմից կազմակերպված հանրահավաքին և  խայտառակ քայլերթին մասնակցում էին անհետ կորած զինվորների ծնողներ և հարազատներ... Հետաքրքիր է, նրանք չե՞ն խամգարում գերիների վերադարձին... 

Կամ իշխանակնները տեղյակ չե՞ն, որ Իլհամն իր վերջին մամլո ասուլիսի ժամանակ ասեց, որ Ադրբեջանում հայ գերիներ չկան, իսկ ովքե՛ր էլ որ կան՝ դիվերսանտներ են...

Հ.Գ. Իշխանականները պետք է մի բան հասկանան՝ դավաճան Նիկոլը չի կարող մեր գերիների հարցը լուծել և ՎԵ՛ՐՋ...»:
