Միացյալ Նահանգները ծանոթացել է Ուկրաինայի բանակի ներկայացուցիչների հայտարարություններին՝ երկրի սահմանների մոտ Ռուսաստանի ներկայության աճի մասին, այդ հարցը քննարկվում է ՆԱՏՕ-ի դաշնակիցների հետ, հայտարարել է Պենտագոնի պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Ջոն Քիրբին:

Երեքշաբթի Ուկրաինայի ԶՈՒ ԳՇ պետ Ռուսլան Խոմչակը հայտարարել էր, որ Ռուսաստանն իբր աստիճանաբար ավելացնում է զորքերն Ուկրաինայի հետ սահմանին, ինչը, նրա խոսքով, սպառնալիք է ստեղծում երկրի ռազմական անվտանգության համար:

«Մենք տեղեկացված ենք ուկրաինացի զինվորականներից ստացված հաղորդագրությունների մասին՝ Ուկրաինայի սահմանների մոտ ՌԴ զինծառայողների տեղաշարժերի վերաբերյալ։ Մենք քննարկում ենք հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտման հաճախակիացած դեպքերի վերաբերյալ մեր մտահոգությունները ՆԱՏՕ-ի գծով մեր դաշնակիցների հետ»,- ասել է Քիրբին:

ՌԴ Պետդումայի՝ Ղրիմի շրջանի պատգամավոր Միխայիլ Շերեմետն ավելի վաղ հայտարարել էր, որ Ռուսաստանին «բավարար է իր հողերն ու իր տարածքները», Մոսկվայի կողմից հարձակման սպառնալիքի մասին հայտարարությունները նա անվանել է «լիակատար անհեթեթություն և զառանցանք»: Նրա խոսքով՝ պատմությունը ցույց է տալիս, որ Ռուսաստանը խաղաղասեր պետություն է, որը միայն պաշտպանվում է, այլ ոչ թե հարձակվում։
