Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդունել է Հարավային Կովկասի և Վրաստանի ճգնաժամի հարցերով ԵՄ հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Տոյվո Կլաարին: Հանդիպմանը ներկա է եղել Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավար, դեսպան Անդրեա Վիկտորինը:

Վարչապետն արդյունավետ է գնահատել ՀՀ-ԵՄ գործընկերությունը, որի շրջանակում բազմաթիվ ծրագրեր են կյանքի կոչվում: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը կարևորել է ԵՄ ներգրավվածությունը Հայաստանում իրականացվող ենթակառուցվածքային ծրագրերում և, ի մասնավորի, տեղեկացրել, որ կառավարությունը որոշել է մեկնարկել «Հյուսիս-հարավի» հարավային՝ Սիսիան-Քաջարան ճանապարհահատվածի շինարարությունը:

Անդրադառնալով Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախի նկատմամբ սանձազերծված պատերազմից հետո ստեղծված իրավիճակին և հումանիտար խնդիրներին՝ վարչապետը նշել է, որ հայկական կողմի համար կարևորագույն առաջնահերթություն է մնում հայ ռազմագերիների վերադարձը, ինչն ամրագրված է 2020թ. նոյեմբերի 10-ի հայտարարության 8-րդ կետով, սակայն Ադրբեջանը փորձում է խեղաթյուրել այդ կետի մեկնաբանությունը և ձգձգել ռազմագերիների, պատանդների և պահվող այլ անձանց վերադարձը: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ԵՄ հատուկ ներկայացուցչի ուշադրությունը հրավիրել է մարդասիրական այս կարևոր հարցի վրա և կարևորել միջազգային գործընկերների, այդ թվում՝ ԵՄ կառույցների առարկայական ներգրավումը դրա լուծմանը:

Վարչապետն անդրադարձել է Ադրբեջանի բարձրագույն ղեկավարության կողմից պաշտոնապես խրախուսվող հայատյացության քաղաքականությանը, որի բացահայտ դրսևորումը օրերս Բաքվում բացված Արցախյան պատերազմի թեմայով «պուրակն» է և այնտեղ Ադրբեջանի կողմից իրականացված պատերազմական հանցագործությունները փառաբանող «ցուցադրությունները», երեխաների ներգրավումն այդ քաղաքականությանը: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը խորը վրդովմունք է հայտնել այս կապակցությամբ՝ այն համարելով լուրջ մարտահրավեր տարածաշրջանային խաղաղությանը և ընդգծել, որ անպատկերացնելի է 21-րդ դարում Եվրոպայի խորհրդի անդամ հանդիսացող երկրի կողմից նման վարքագիծը, որը չի կարող հարիր լինել քաղաքակիրթ աշխարհին: Վարչապետն անհրաժեշտ է համարել միջազգային հանրության համարժեք արձագանքը Ադրբեջանի մարդատյաց քաղաքականությանը և շեշտել, որ սա ամենամեծ հիմքն է՝ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի դեպքում «անջատում հանուն փրկության» սկզբունքը կիրառելու համար:

ԵՄ հատուկ ներկայացուցիչը նշել է, որ ԵՄ-ն կարևորում է Հարավային Կովկասում խաղաղության հաստատումը և մտահոգիչ համարել այն խաթարող մարտահրավերների դրսևորումը, ինչը հնարավոր չի դարձնում համապատասխան մթնոլորտի ձևավորումը: Տոյվո Կլաարը ՀՀ վարչապետին է ներկայացրել Հայաստանի սահմանամերձ մարզեր կատարած այցի և այնտեղ ունեցած հանդիպումների տպավորությունները: Ընդգծվել է սահմանամերձ բնակավայրերի բնակչության իրավունքների պաշտպանության կարևորությունը:

Վարչապետը ԵՄ հատուկ ներկայացուցչի ուշադրությունը հրավիրել է նաև Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախ մուտք գործելու հարցի շահարկման վրա, որի նպատակը միջազգային կառույցների հումանիտար գործունեությունը ԼՂ-ում խոչընդոտելն է: Այս առումով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը կարևորել է Ադրբեջանին կառուցողական դաշտ բերելը: Արձագանքելով հարցին՝ Հայաստանում ԵՄ դեսպանը նշել է, որ ԵՄ-ն շարունակելու է մարդասիրական ծրագրեր իրականացնել Արցախում և աջակցություն ցուցաբերել:

Զրուցակիցները մտքեր են փոխանակել ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման շուրջ: Վարչապետ Փաշինյանը նշել է, որ դեռևս չլուծված է մնում ԼՂ կարգավիճակի հարցը, և Հայաստանի դիրքորոշումն այս առնչությամբ այն է, որ պետք է շարունակել բանակցությունները ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահության շրջանակում:

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ու Տոյվո Կլաարն անդրադարձել են տարածաշրջանային նշանակության այլ հարցերի ևս, մտքեր փոխանակել տրանսպորտային և տնտեսական ենթակառուցվածքների բացման հարցի շուրջ:
