«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի տեղեկությունների համաձայն՝ նախօրեին ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի կողմից ԱԺ ամբիոնից պատերազմի, արված օպերացիաների, թերացումների մասին հայտարարությունը մի շարք գեներալների, գնդապետների խիստ մտահոգել է, թե ինչու էր այդ մասին ԱԺ ամբիոնից վարչապետը հրապարակավ ասում:

Ավելին՝ մեզ հասած լուրերի համաձայն՝ բարձրաստիճան զինվորականները քննարկել են, որ ԶՈւ գլխա­վոր շտաբի նախկին պետի և վարչապետի այս հրապարակային վեճը լավ տեղ չի տանի ու բանակին նոր մարտահրավերներ կնետի: Լավատեղյակ աղբ­յուրներից տեղեկացանք, որ մարտի 22-ին, երբ ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ՀՀ ԶՈւ հրամկազմին է ներկայացրել Արտակ Դավթյանին, փակ քննարկ­ման ժամանակ գեներալներից շատերը հետաքրքրվել են, թե ինչ ճակատագիր է իրենց սպասվում, արդյոք իրենք 44-օրյա պատերազմի հետ կապված ինչ-որ քրեական գործերով են անցնելու կամ դատվելու:

Փաշինյանը վստահեցրել է, որ ոչ մի փաստահավաք խումբ չի ստեղծվելու, որևէ քննություն չի իրա­կանացվելու, բոլորը կարող են իրենց գործառույթները հանգիստ իրականացնել: Ավելին, ըստ նույն տեղեկությունների՝ Փաշինյանը նշել էր, թե իրենք կա­րող են ներքին քննարկումներ իրականացնել ու իրենց մեջ որոշել՝ որտեղ, ով, ինչպես սխալվեց, հետևություն անեն: ԶՈւ հրամկազմն էլ, վստահ լինելով, որ ամեն ինչ լավ է, խաղաղվել ու անցել էր իր գործին: Բայց նախօրեին վարչապետի ելույթից ՊՆ-ն ու ԶՈւ. կազմը, կարելի է ասել, տագնապի մեջ Են, քանի որ առաջիկայում հնարավոր են կտրուկ շրջադարձեր»:
