1,5 տարի առաջ մենք որոշում ընդունեցինք, որ Շահումյան հրապարակը պետք է մաքրենք հսկայական ավտոկայանատեղիից, սակայն պատերազմից հետո նորից այդտես սկսվել է ավոտկայանատեղիների բուռն գործունեությունը: Այս մասին, այսօր՝ ապրիլի 20-ին, Երեւանի ավագանու նիստում հայտարարեց ԲՀԿ խմբակցության անդամ Հռիփսիմե Առաքելյանը:

«Նույն մասնավոր մեքենաներն այնտեղ կայանում են, ապօրինի ավտոկայանատեղի գործարկողներն սկսել են շահագործել հրապարակը: Եթե մենք հասկացել ենք, որ սխալ որոշում ենք կայացրել Շահումյան հրապարակի մասով, ինչո՞ւ չենք բերում օրակարգ այդ հարցը: Իսկ եթե ոչ, ապա ինչու է ապօրինի գործարկվում ավտոկայանատեղին, երբ լեփ- լեցուն է հրապարակը»,-ասաց նա:

Քաղաքապետ Հայկ Մարությանն արձագանքեց, որ 1,5 տարի առաջ կայացված որոշումը ճիշտ է եղել, որ այդ որոշումից հետո այդ եւ հարակից տարածքներում ավտոկայանատեղիներ են բացվել, այդ թվում Օպերայի տարածքում գործում է ստորգետնյա ավոտկայանատեղի, որը թերլցված է:

«Այսինքն տեղ կա, բայց մարդիկ ամենահեշտ ու կարճ ճանապարհն են ընտրում: Մենք բավականին դժվարությամբ ժամանակին կարողացանք մաքրել հրապարակը, նաեւ Հանրապետության հրապարակը, բայց վերջերս այդ կանոնակարգը մի փոքր խարխլվել է: Ես հստակ հանձնարարականներ տվել եմ, որ ոստիկանության հետ զբաղվեն, որ Շահումյան հրապարակը լինի այնպիսին, ինչպիսին գծված է: Դա 100 տոկոսով ոստիկանության գործառույթների մեջ է մտնում՝ պահպանել գծանշումը եւ ապահովել, որ Շահումյան հրապարակը լինի դատարկ»,-ասաց Մարությանը:
