ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարար Վահան Քերոբյանն ապրիլի 22-ին ընդունել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում Կանադայի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Էլիսոն ԼըՔլերին, տեղեկացնում է ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարարության Տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունը։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում երկուստեք կարևորվել է հայ-կանադական համագործակցությունը և նախանշվել են համագործակցության հնարավոր ուղղությունները։ Առանձնացվել են համագործակցության հետևյալ ոլորտները՝ առևտուր և ներդրումներ, արդյունաբերություն, բարձր տեխնոլոգիաներ, կրթություն և զբոսաշրջություն։ Նախարարը համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ հայ-կանադական տնտեսական հարաբերություններն ունեն ակտիվացման և զարգացման մեծ ներուժ։

Քննարկվել են հայկական արտադրանքը (մասնավորապես՝ արևային պանելներ և ալկոհոլային խմիչքներ) դեպի Կանադա արտահանման հնարավորությունները։ Նախարարը կարևորել է կանադական  կանեփի արտադրությամբ զբաղվող առաջատար ընկերությունների հետ գործարար կապերի հաստատաման հնարավորությունները և  շեշտել, որ Հայաստանն ունի գրավիչ միջավայր բիզնես գործունեություն ծավալելու համար՝ հաշվի առնելով երկրի կլիմայական պայմանները և որակյալ աշխատուժը։ Բացի այդ, կանադացի ներդրողները կարող են օգտվել Հայաստանում ներկայումս կառուցվող արդյունաբերական գոտիների հնարավորություններից՝  իրենց արտադրական մասնաճյուղերը Հայաստան տեղափոխելու գործընթացը դյուրացնելու, ինչպես նաև ԵԱՏՄ շուկա առանց խոչընդոտների մուտք գործելու  համար։   

Վահան Քերոբյանը կարևորել է երկրի տնտեսական զարգացման գործում կրթության հենակետային նշանակությունը։ Այդ նպատակի իրագործման շուրջ շարունակաբար տարվում են աշխատանքներ։ Դեսպան ԼըՔլերը և նախարար Քերոբյանը կարևորել են միասնական կրթական և մասնագիտական զարգացման ծրագրերի իրականացումը։

Զրույցակիցներն առանձնացրել են ֆինանսական ծառայությունների մատուցման և գյուղատնտեսության ոլորտներում փորձի փոխանակման ծրագրերը։

Նախարարն իր պատրաստակամությունն է հայտնել աջակցելու կանադական ֆինանսական կառույցներին, բանկերին, մասնավորապես՝ վենչուրային հիմնադրամներին, հիմնվել Հայաստանում՝ ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանն ունի ամենաթափանցիկ և վստահելի ֆինանսական համակարգերից մեկը տարածաշրջանում, ինչի շնորհիվ արդեն երկար տարիներ մի շարք առաջատար միջազգային բանկեր իրենց գործունեությունն են ծավալում Հայաստանում։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են նաև երկու երկրների մասնավոր հատվածի ներկայացուցիչների մասնակցությամբ գործարար հանդիպումների կազմակերպման հարցեր։ Այդ կապակցությամբ նախարարն առաջարկել է 2021թ․-ի երկրորդ կեսին անցկացնել հայ-կանադական գործարար համաժողով։
