«Ի՞նչ մնաց դուխով Հայաստանից»․ ՀՀ նախկին փոխվարչապետ Արմեն Գևորգյանը Տելեգրամի իր ալիքում այս խորագրով գրառում է արել․

«Իր անհեռատես, պոպուլիստական և անպատասխանատու քաղաքականությամբ Նիկոլը ոչ միայն պատերազմ հրահրեց, պարտվեց և կրեց իրական տարածքային ու մարդկային կորուստներ, այլև տվեց գլոբալ աշխարհաքաղաքական վերադասավորումների գործընթացի մեկնարկը։  

Վերջին 3 տարիների իրադարձությունները բերեցին նրան, որ Հայաստանը կարևոր աշխարհաքաղաքական դերակատարից վերածվեց հասարակ տարածաշրջանային գործոնի։ Մենք մի դերակատար էինք, որը եթե նույնիսկ չէր սահմանում տարածաշրջանում աշխարհաքաղաքական խաղի մեծ կանոնները, ապա ազդում էր դրանց ընթացքի և բովանդակության վրա։ Նիկոլի և նրա թիմի եռամյա իշխանությունից հետո մեզնից պահանջվում է ընդամենը հնազանդորեն հետևել գլոբալ և տարածաշրջանային միտումներին։

Մեկ այլ կարևոր հանգամանք. ՀՀ իշխանությունները երբեք այդքան կախված չեն եղել արտաքին ազդեցության կենտրոններից ներքին քաղաքականության հարցերում, որքան այսօր: Ցավոք, համաշխարհային միջազգային ֆոնդերում և ուղեղային կենտրոններում են սահմանվում մեր երկրի ներքին զարգացման օրակարգը: Ակնհայտ է, որ իրենց կողմից բերված փաթեթը երկիրը հասցրեց փլուզման եզրին, մեզ պառակտեց և դարձրեց հնարավորինս խոցելի:

Այսօր իմացա նաև, որ այն շենքը, որում ապրում եմ, երևի ամենահսկվողներից է քաղաքում: Իմ հարազատները ասացին, որ արդեն ավելի քան մեկ շաբաթ է, ինչ հատուկ ծառայությունների մի քանի օպերատիվ աշխատակիցներ միաժամանակ դիտում են շենքը:  Հիմա արդեն պարզ է, որ քանի դեռ այդքան ջանք է գործադրվում հանրային, քաղաքական գործիչներին հետևելու և գաղտնալսելու համար, ուժերն ու միջոցները չեն բավարարում արտաքին գործակալների դեմ պայքարում: Ւ դեպ. ինչքան հասկանում եմ այդ գործողությունները վիճահարույց են օրենքի տեսակետից:
