Հայաստանի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանը Ադրբեջանին հիշեցնում է միջազգային պահանջը. եթե անգամ նոյեմբերի 9-ի եռակողմ հայտարարության 8-րդ կետը չլիներ, միևնույն է, Ադրբեջանը պարտավոր է վերադարձնել հայ ռազմագերիներին:

Թաթոյանն այս մասին սաց Ազգային ժողովի Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության և հանրային հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովի նիստում:

ՄԻՊ-ը նկատեց, որ Ադրբեջանը սկզբում գերիներին փորձեց ներկայացնել որպես ահաբեկիչներ: «Հետո փոխեցին քաղաքականությունը և հիմա ասում են, թե ընդհանրապես չունեն ահաբեկիչ: Սա միջազգային սկզբունքներին ակնհայտ հակասող դիրքորոշում է: Թեև նոյեմբերի 9-ից առաջ, թե հետո, թե պատերազմից առաջ ու հետո, մենք ունենք բաց, ընթացող ռազմական կոնֆլիկտ, այս կոնֆլիկտը չի ավարտվել: Միջազգային մարդասիրական իրավունքի համաձայն՝ ցանկացած մարդ, որը գերության մեջ է հայտնված այդ ժամանակաշրջանում, գերու կարգավիճակ ունի: Հետևաբար, հատկապես Ժնևի 3-րդ կոնվենցիայով արգելվում է որևէ տեսակի հետապնդում այդ մարդու նկատմամբ, ավելին՝ սա պատերազմական հանցագործության հանգեցնող քաղաքականություն է անգամ»,- ասաց Թաթոյանը:

Նա նկատեց, երբ Ադրբեջանն անընդհատ հղում է անում նոյեմբերի 9-ի հայտարարության 8-րդ կետին՝ ասելով, թե կատարում են, այնպես չէ, որ դա իրենց լավությունն է կամ բարի կամքի դրսևորումը, դա իրենց պարտավորությունն է: «Եթե անգամ նոյեմբերի 9-ի հայտարարության մեջ այդ կետը չլիներ, ի՞նչ է, պետք է մեր գերիներին չվերադարձնեի՞ն: Դա միջազգային պահանջ է՝ անգամ, եթե կոնկրետ հակամարտությանը վերաբերող փաստաթղթում չկա այս կետը, նրանք պարտավոր են դա կատարել»,- ընդգծեց Թաթոյանը:

ՄԻՊ-ի կարծիքով՝ միջազգային հանրությունը հիմա այդ առումով ճնշումներն ավելի է ուժեղացնում: «Քանի որ մենք կարողանում ենք համատեղ ուժերով ցույց տալ, որ այստեղ բոլորովին այլ խնդրի մասին է խոսքը»,- ասաց նա:

Թաթոյանը նկատեց, որ Ադրբեջանն այդ առումով նաև քաղաքականացնում է խնդիրը՝ հոգեկան տառապանքներ պատճառելու նպատակով հատկապես գերիների և անհայտ կորածների ընտանիքի անդամներին:
