Երևանի քաղաքապետարանը հեղափոխությունից հետո շինարարական մեգանախագծեր էր ներկայացնում` խոստանալով կարճ ժամանակում դրանք դրանք կյանքի կոչել և ավելի հարմարավետ դարձնել երևանցիների կյանքը: 

Օրեր առաջ պարզ դարձավ, որ քաղաքապետարանը կասեցրել  է Հայրենիքի էստակադայի կառուցման նախագիծը: Դեռ 2019թ. փետրվարին քաղաքապետ Հայկ Մարությանը Ֆեյսբուքում գրառում էր կատարել` հայտնելով, որ գլխավոր ճարտարապետ Արթուր Մեսչյանի հետ քննարկում են «Հայրենիք» կինոթատրոնի հարակից հրապարակի տրանսպորտային հանգույցի նախագիծը։ «Այն զգալիորեն կթեթևացնի երթևեկությունը Արշակունյաց պողոտայի և Գարեգին Նժդեհի փողոցի հատման հատվածում՝ ապահովելով անընդհատ երթևեկություն»,- գրել էր Մարությանը։ Քաղաքապետի մամուլի խոսնակ Հակոբ Կարապետյանն էլ տեղեկացրել էր՝ այս հանգույցի կառուցման արժեքը կկազմի շուրջ 4 մլն դոլար։ Երևանի հնգամյա զարգացման պլանում, սակայն, այս նախագիծը տեղ չի գտել։ Քաղաքապետարանից պարզաբանել են՝ առաջնահերթության կարգով իրականացվում է Բաբաջանյան-Աշտարակ, Արգավանդ-Շիրակ ճանապարհահատվածների կառուցումը, իսկ տվյալ նախագիծը սառեցվել է:

Սա, ի դեպ, միակ մոռացության մատնված նախագիծը չէ: 2019-ին Հայկ Մարությանը խոսել էր Աջափնյակում մետրոյի նոր կայարանի կառուցման հեռանկարի մասին և հայտնել, որ փորձել են ներգրավել մասնավոր ընկերությունների, որպեսզի պետության վրա այդ հոգսը չլինի: Մետրոյի նոր կայարանից դեռ որևէ նորություն չկա: Ընդ որում խոսքը գնում էր մետրոյի ոչ թե մեկ, այլ երկու նոր կայարանների կառուցման մասին:

Քաղաքապետարանը նախատեսում էր նաև Նորքի զանգվածից դեպի քաղաքի կենտրոն տրանսպորտային կոլապսը լուծելու համար ճոպանուղի կառուցել: Թերևս այս հարցը նույնպես գրվել է սառույցին:

Երևանում նախատեսվում էր նաև 270 մետր բարձրությամբ և 71 հարկ ունեցող երկնաքեր կառուցել:

Ընտրություններից քիչ անց Նուբարաշենի աղբավայր այցելած քաղաքապետը աղբի վերամշակման նոր գործարան էր նաև խոսք տվել երևանցիներին, այստեղ նույնպես որևէ առաջխաղացում չենք տեսնում:
