Մայիսի 5-ին Արցախի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարար Դավիթ Բաբայանը նամակներ է հղել Միավորված ազգերի կազմակերպության Գլխավոր քարտուղար Անտոնիո Գուտերեշին և ՄԱԿ-ի մասնագիտացված մարմիններին՝ Շուշի քաղաքի հայ բնակչության բռնի վտարմանն ուղղված Ադրբեջանի քաղաքականության կապակցությամբ, հայտնում է Արցախի ԱԳՆ-ն։

Նամակներում նշվում է, որ Ադրբեջանի կողմից Շուշիում իրականացված բռնի վտարումներն ուղղակի և անուղղակի կերպով խախտում են միջազգային բազմաթիվ փաստաթղթերում ամրագրված հայ բնակչության քաղաքացիական, մշակութային, տնտեսական, քաղաքական և սոցիալական իրավունքների ողջ սպեկտորը:

Ընդգծվում է, որ Արցախի օկուպացված տարածքներում պատմական, մշակութային և ճարտարապետական լանդշաֆտի բռնի վերափոխման քաղաքականությունը խտրականության և այլատյացության բացահայտ դրսևուրում է:

Նամակներում շեշտվում է, որ միջազգային հանրությունը պետք է հակազդի Ադրբեջանի կողմից շարունակաբար իրականացվող մարդկության դեմ ուղղված հանցագործություններին, որոնց թիրախն Արցախի ժողովուրդն է: Արցախի Հանրապետության օկուպացված տարածքներում Ադրբեջանի ցանկացած գործունեություն, որը հակասում է միջազգային իրավունքի նորմերին ու սկզբունքներին և նպատակ ունի ամրագրել Արցախի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի դեմ ուժի ապօրինի կիրառման հետևանքները, չպետք է հանդուրժվի և պետք է ուղղակիորեն դատապարտվի միջազգային հանրության կողմից:

Արցախի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարարը կոչ է անում համապատասխան միջոցներ ձեռնարկել ՄԱԿ-ի միջազգային-իրավական գործիքակազմն ակտիվացնելու ուղղությամբ՝ ապահովելու միջազգային մասնագիտացված կազմակերպությունների անարգել մուտքն Արցախ այդ կործանարար և շարունակական խախտումները վերացնելու համար:
