Պաշտոնին նշանակվելուց քիչ անց հայտնի դարձավ, որ էկոնոմիկայի նախարար Վահան Քերոբյանը կեղծել է իր կենսագրությունը: Կառավարության կայքում էկոնոմիկայի նախարար Վահան Քերոբյանի կենսագրությունում նշված է, թե «Menu Group UK» անգլիական ընկերության տնօրեն է աշխատել մինչև 2020 թվականը, այսինքն՝ փորձել է ցույց տալ, թե իբր նախարար նշանակվելու պահին ինքը չի հանդիսացել առևտրային ընկերությունուն տնօրեն: Վահան Քերոբյանը անգլիական ընկերության տնօրենի պաշտոնից ազատվել է ոչ թե 2020 թվականին, այլ՝ 2021 թվականի հունվարի 11-ին: Այդ ընկերության նոր տնօրեն է նշանակվել Շվեյցարիայի քաղացի Հայկ Քարամյանը: Այսպիսով՝ ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարար Վահան Քերոբյանը շուրջ 2 ամիս խախտել է Հանրային ծառայության մասին օրենքը, որի հիման վրա կոռուպցիայի հանձնաժողովը պարտավոր է հարուցել վարույթ և կիրառել պատասխանատվություն, ինչը, սակայն, չի արել:

Հաջորդ խոշոր սկանդալը կապված էր Իրանում նախարարի ոչ սթափ վիճակում գտնվելու հետ: Նախարարը Իրանում հարբել է և հաջորդ օրը չի կարողացել մասնակցել նախանշված հանդիպմանը։ Ավելի ուշ Իրանում ՀՀ դեսպանությունը հաստատեց տապալված հանդիպման փաստը:

Այնուհետև պարզվեց՝ սա Իրան կատարած այցի միակ սկանդալը չի եղել, «Հրապարակ»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ Իրանից վերադառնալիս «Զվարթնոց» օդանավակայանում նա հրաժարվել է կորոնավիրուսի թեստ հանձնել տարածքում գործող մոտ մեկ տասնյակի հասնող լաբորատորիաներում։ Դեպուտատական սրահում գտնվողները զարմացել են նախարարի պահվածքից, թե ինչու է աղմուկ սարքում՝ հրաժարվելով կատարել կառավարության որոշումը, որի անդամ է նաեւ ինքը։ 

Նման վարքի համար նախարարը անգամ կարգապահական տույժի չի ենթարկվել:
