Լիբանանահայ Վիգեն Էօլչեքճեանին, ում ադրբեջանական զորքերը նոյեմբերի 10-ին գերի էին վերցրել Շուշիի մերձակայքում և ապօրինաբար պահում են Ադրբեջանում, տեղափոխել են հիվանդանոց, հաղորդում է Asbarez-ը:

Այդ մասին կայքին հայտնել են Քրիստինան՝ Էօլչեքճեանի 18-ամյա դուստրը, և Բեատրիսը՝ Վիգենի մայրը: Վերջին անգամ նրանք Բեյրութից Վիգենի հետ խոսել են, երբ նրան բանտից տեղափոխել են հիվանդանոց։

Բեյրութում բարդ տնտեսական և քաղաքական իրավիճակի պատճառով Վիգենը որոշել է Հայաստանում հասատվել և 2017 թվականին Հայաստանի քաղաքացիություն ստանալու դիմում է ներկայացրել՝ միաժամանակ պահպանելով Լիբանանի քաղաքացիությունը: Այդ մասին գրում է Nouvelles d' Arménie-ն: Վիգենը բիզնես սկսելու մտադրությամբ 2019 թվականի նոյեմբերին մշտական բնակության է տեղափոխվել  Երևան։ 

Վիգենը գերեվարվել է Շուշիի մերձակայքում՝ հրադադարի մասին հայտարարությունից մեկ օր անց։ 2020 թ. նոյեմբերի 10-ին Մարալ Նաջարյանի հետ Վիգենը մեկնել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ, որպեսզի իր իրերը վերցնի Շուշիի հյուրանոցից: Նրանց կանգնեցրել են ադրբեջանական զորքերը և ավտոբուսով տեղափոխել Բաքու՝ բազմաթիվ այլ հայ գերիների, քաղաքացիական անձանց և զինվորների հետ։ Մարալ Նաջարյանն ազատ է արձակվել 2021 թվականի մարտին, մինչդեռ Վիգենը դեռ գերության մեջ է, Ադրբեջանը նրա դեմ նախաձեռնել է քրեական գործընթաց՝ փորձելով վերջինին ներկայացնել որպես «վարձկան»:

2021 թվականի փետրվարին Միջազգային Կարմիր խաչի ներկայացուցիչներին թույլատրվել է Վիգենին այցելել բանտում: Նրանք նպաստել են Վ. Էօլչեքճեանի և Բեյրութում նրա ընտանիքի միջև կապի ապահովմանը: Վերջին հեռախոսազրույցը կայացել է մայիսի 25-ին։ Վիգենը մորը և երկու երեխաներին զանգահարել է Ադրբեջանի հիվանդանոցից, որտեղ նրան տեղափոխել են Կարմիր խաչի աշխատակիցները: Նա ընտանիքին գանգատվել է, որ ունի մեջքի ցավեր: Խոսակցությունը շատ կարճ է տևել, և նրան չեն կարողացել շատ հարցեր տալ:

ԵՄ-ն, Եվրոպական խորհրդարանը, Եվրոպայի Խորհուրդը, ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահները, միջազգային իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպությունները և բազմաթիվ ականավոր գործիչներ կոչ են արել առանց նախապայմանի և անհապաղ ազատ արձակել բոլոր ռազմագերիներին:
