Հունիսի 15-ին Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում հյուրընկալել է Լորդերի պալատի անդամ, Քովենթրի եպիսկոպոս Քրիստոֆերին՝ ուղեկցությամբ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Իռլանդիայի հայոց թեմի առաջնորդ Տ․ Հովակիմ եպիսկոպոս Մանուկյանի: Այս մասին հայտնում են Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի տեղեկատվական համակարգից։

Նորին Սրբությունը ողջունել է Քրիստոֆեր եպիսկոպոսի ժամանումը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածին՝ ընդգծելով, որ վերջինս առաջիկա օրերին հնարավորություն կունենա հաղորդ դառնալու հայ ժողովրդի կյանքին ու դիմագրավելիք մարտահրավերներին, պատմությանը և բազմադարյան հոգևոր, մշակութային հարուստ ժառանգությանը:

Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն ի մասնավորի իր գնահատանքն է բերել Քովենթրի առաջնորդին դժվարին այս շրջանում հայ ժողովրդին ցուցաբերած իր զորակցության և հատկապես հայ ռազմագերիների ազատ արձակման և հայոց սրբավայրերի պահպանության ուղղությամբ գործադրած ջանքերի համար։

Իր հերթին Քրիստոֆեր եպիսկոպոսն ուրախություն է հայտնել Հայաստան այցելելու հնարավորության համար։ Անդրադառնալով պատերազմի պատճառած ծանր կորուստներին՝ վերջինս իր վշտակցությունն ու աջակցությունն է հայտնել Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսին, ապա տեղեկացրել Քովենթրի մայր տաճարում այդ կապակցությամբ կազմակերպված հատուկ արարողություններիև միջոցառումների մասին։

Քովենթրի առաջնորդը նաև գոհունակությամբ փաստել է Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Իռլանդիայի հայոց թեմի ու հայ համայնքի հետ ձևավորված սերտ գործակցությունը։

Զրույցի ընթացքում Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը և Լորդերի պալատի անդամ, Քովենթրի եպիսկոպոս Քրիստոֆերը հանգամանորեն քննարկել են հետպատերազմյան իրավիճակին, Արցախի և Հայաստանի սահմանամերձ բնակավայրերի անվտանգությանը և Ադրբեջանում գերության մեջ գտնվողների վերադարձին առնչվող խնդիրները։

Մասնավոր անդրադարձ է կատարվել Ադրբեջանի վերահսկողության տակ գտնվող արցախյան տարածքներում հայկական հոգևոր, մշակութային ժառանգության ոչնչացման և յուրացման հարցերին։ Այս կապակցությամբ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը ներկայացրել է իր մտահոգությունները։
