44-օրյա պատերազմում զոհված Մխիթար Գալեյանի ընկերուհին՝ Սոնա Մանուկյանն, իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է.

«Երեկ հյուր էի եկել քեզ Միխխխ…. Հարազատս գիտես ինչ դժվ ար էր նայել քեզ խոսել քո հետ հարցնել ինչպես ես սակայն պատասխան չստանալ…. Նստել էի կողքիդ պատմում թե ինչ ա եղել այսքան ժամանակ ինչ չեմ պատմել քեզ…պատմում էի, թե հիմա ինչ աննորմալություններ եմ անում… Սակայն չկար էն բարձր և լիաթոք ծիծաղդ, որ միշտ լսել եմ ու ասել՝ կամաց ծիծաղի նեռվայնացա... ընկերսս, հարազատս հավատա կտամ ամեն ինչ, որ նորից լսեմ ինչպես ես ծիծաղում ասածներիս կամ արածներիս վրա….Միխ երբ կողքիդ նստած էի քո հետ խոսում էի ով մոտենում էր քեզ ինձ հարցնում էր քույրդ եմ…անգամ մի կնոջ, որ ասեցի ընկերներ ենք չհավատաց ասեց բայց շատ նման եք…. Եւ գիտես ակամայից հիշեցի քո ասածը «»մենք իրար շատ ենք նման 2-ս էլ կանաչ աչքեր ունենք»»:

Հավատա էնքան կցանկանայի իսկապես քեզ նման լինեի, քո նման հասկացող, բարի, ընկերասեր ու ազնիվ ինչպես դու ես… Քո կողքին նստած խոսելիս ենքան հանգստություն կար, որ նկարագրելու չի…
Միխխխ երեք ժամից ավել եղել եմ էդտեղ ու էդ ենքան շուտ անցավ ինձ թվում էր հինգ րոպե ա ինչ եկել եմ… Գիտես երբ քեզ հարց էի տալիս ինչի, ինչի գնացիր և սենց, իմ հարցին կողքից պատասխանեցին Աստված իր կողքին ամենա լավ մարդկանց է տանում… Իմ լավ ընկեր, իմ հարազատ ախր մենք էլ էինք ցանկանում, որ դու մեր կողքին լինեիր… Չնայած ես երեկ հասկացա, որ դու մեր կողքին ես երբ ուզում էի խունկ ծխել ու քամին չէր թողնում և մի պահ քամին կանգնեց ու երբ խունկը ծխեցի կրկին սկսեց քամին…
Էնքան հանգստություն կար քո կողքին որ մի պահ անգամ գնալ չէի ուզում։ Մի՜խ, քեզ խոստացել էի որ չեմ լացի, որ միշտ ուժեղ կլինեմ… Սակայն երեկ անզոր էի խոստացածս կատարել, կներես խոստումս չպահելու համար…»,- գրել է նա:
