Մեղրի համայնքի ղեկավարի ԺՊ է նշանակվել Արարատ Թումանյանը, ով, ի դեպ, բացի նրանից, որ ՔՊ ակտիվ անդամ է և Փաշինյանի նվիրյալ, նաև գործարար է: Վերջինիս «Արագգ» ՍՊԸ-ն Իրանից և Թուրքմենստանից դիզվառելիք է ներկրում: 2016-2017 թվականներին Թումանյանը ակտիվ բողոքում էր ՊԵԿ վարած քաղաքականությունից, պնդելով, որ  ՊԵԿ-ը խոչընդոտում է իր բիզնեսին՝ այդպիսով արտոնյալ պայմաններ ստեղծելով խոշորների՝ «ՖԼեՇ»-ի և «ՍիՓիԷս»-ի համար: Այն ժամանակ, Պետեկամուտների կոմիտեի հաղորդագրությունից հայտնի դարձավ, որ կոմիտեն քրեական գործ էր հարուցել՝ սպառողներին խոշոր չափերով խաբելու դեպքի առթիվ, ու արգելել է մաքսազերծել ներմուծված վառելիքը Թումանյանին պատկանող «Արագգ» ընկերությանը: Ըստ հաղորդագրության, «տարեսկզբից ներկրած վառարանային վառելիքն օրենքը շրջանցելով [ընկերությունը] փորձել է իրացնել իբրև կերոսին ու դիզելային վառելիք: Ներկրողը նաև հաշիվ-ապրանքագիր է դուրս գրել մեկ ընկերության անունով, սակայն հարկային օրենսդրությունը խախտելով՝ փաստացի մատակարարել է մեկ ուրիշին»: 

Թիմակցին այն ժամանակ պաշտպանել էր ընդդիմադիր պատգամավոր Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, ով նամակ էր հղել վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանին` պահանջելով խոչընդոտներ չհարուցել Թումանյանի ընկերության համար: «Փաստորեն, ինչպես հայտնի գրքում է ասվում, որոշ կենդանիներ ավելի հավասար են, քան այլ կենդանիները», ֊ գրել էր Փաշինյանը։ 2018 թվականի տվյալներով` «Արագգ» ՍՊԸ-ն շուրջ 6 միլիոն դրամի չկատարված հարկային պարտավորություններ ուներ: 2019-ին Ազդարար համակարգում տեղադրվել է «ԱՐԱԳԳ» ՍՊԸ-ն սնանկ ճանաչելու, կառավարիչ և պարտատերերի առաջին ժոողով նշանակելու մասին որոշումը, սակայն, թե ինչ է տեղի ունեցել դրանից հետո, հասկանալի չէ:

Պետռեգիստրի կայքում նշվում է, որ «Արագգ» ՍՊԸ-ի ղեկավարը դեռևս Թումանյանն է:

Արդյո՞ք պատահականություն է, որ Իրանի հետ բիզնես անող գործարարին նշանակում են հենց Իրանի սահմանակից համայնքի ղեկավարի ԺՊ: Կհրաժարվի արդյո՞ք Թումանյանը իր բիզնեսից, թե նախկինների օրինակով կփորձի պաշտոնը ծառայեցնել սեփական բիզնեսի շահերի սպասարկմանը՝ օգտվելով նաև վերևների աջակցությունից:
