Տարվա տաք շրջանում՝ հիմնականում ամռան ամիսներին, ավելանում են աղիքային վարակիչ հիվանդությունների և սննդային թունավորումների դեպքերը, ինչպես նաև բռնկումները: 

Հայաստանում բարձր ջերմաստիճանով, սննդամթերքի բացօթյա ոչ ճիշտ պատրաստմամբ և հակասանիտարական պայմաններում վաճառքի հետ կապված՝ ընթացիկ տարում արդեն իսկ արձանագրվել են սննդային գործոնով պայմանավորված բռնկման դեպքեր, որոնց պատճառ են հանդիսացել արագ սննդի պատրաստման կետերից գնված սննդամթերքը (քաբաբ, շաուրմա և այլն), ինչպես նաև տարբեր կրեմային հրուշակեղենը:

Հարկ է նշել, որ սննդամթերքը դառնում է սննդային միջավայր մանրէների բազմացման համար, մասնավորապես՝ ամռանն արագ փչացող, պահպանման և իրացման համար հատուկ պայմաններ պահանջող սննդամթերքի  բացօթյա և այդ նպատակի համար չնախատեսված վայրերում վաճառքի իրականացմամբ, ինչը կարող է սննդային գործոնով պայմանավորված աղիքային վարակիչ հիվանդությունների և սննդային թունավորումների առաջացման ու տարածման պատճառ դառնալ:

Աղիքային վարակիչ հիվանդություններից և սննդային թունավորումներից խուսափելու համար անհրաժեշտ է. 

  •  հետևել ձեռքերի հիգիենային, հատկապես` սնունդ պատրաստելուց և ուտելուց առաջ, զուգարանից օգտվելուց հետո լվացվել օճառով,
  •  սննդամթերքը (մրգերը, բանջարեղենը, հատապտուղները) օգտագործելուց առաջ լավ լվանալ հոսող մաքուր ջրով,
  •  պահպանել սննդամթերքը պատշաճ ջերմային պայմաններում` սառնարանում,
  •  ընտրել թարմ, ոչ ժամկետանց սննդամթերք,
  •  չգնել արտաքին միջավայրի գործոնների՝ արևի ճառագայթների և մթնոլորտային տեղումների, ինչպես նաև փոշու, ավտոտրանսպորտի արտանետումների անմիջական ազդեցության ներքո գտնվող  մայրուղիներում, փողոցներում, բնակելի շենքերի բակերում բացօթյա պայմաններում պատրաստվող և վաճառվող, պատրաստման և պահպանման հատուկ պայմաններ պահանջող սննդամթերք` միս- մսամթերք, կաթ-կաթնամթերք, կրեմային հրուշակեղեն, ձու, ձկնեղեն, թարմ ձկնկիթ, պահածոյացված սննդատեսակներ, կարկանդակներ, փքաբլիթներ, խորոված և այլն,
  •  բացառել կրեմային հրուշակեղենի օգտագործումը, չգնել տեղում պատրաստվող լցնովի փափուկ պաղպաղակ, զովացուցիչ ըմպելիք, կվաս, թարմ մրգերից պատրաստվող հյութեր,
  •  սննդամթերքը պահել փակ տարաներում՝ ճանճերի աղտոտումից կանխելու նպատակով,
  •  առանձնացնել հում սննդամթերքը եփածից, ինչպես նաև սննդի պատրաստման ժամանակ հում և պատրաստի մթերքի համար օգտագործել առանձին խոհարարական պարագաներ՝ դանակներ, ափսեներ, տախտակներ: Շատ կարևոր է հետևել, որպեսզի մսամթերքից և այլ հում մթերքից հոսող հեղուկը չաղտոտի պատրաստի սննդատեսակները (աղցաններ, միրգ և բանջարեղեն և այլն), 
  •  սնունդը լավ եփել կամ տապակել` առնվազն 700C պայմաններում։
