Հուլիսի 29-ին, ժամը 08։40-ի սահմաններում, Ադրբեջանի ԶՈՒ ստորաբաժանումները կրկին կրակ են բացել հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանի Գեղարքունիքի հատվածում տեղակայված հայկական դիրքերի ուղղությամբ։ Այս մասին հայտնում է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը: 

Ծավալվել է կարճատև փոխհրաձգություն, հայ դիրքապահների գործողություններից հետո հակառակորդի կրակը լռեցվել է։ Հուլիսի 29-ի սադրանքների հետևանքով հրազենային վիրավորում է ստացել ՀՀ ԶՈՒ մեկ զինծառայող։ Ժամը 09։30-ի դրությամբ իրադրությունը հանգիստ է։
