Երևանում այսօր` սեպտեմբերի 17–ին, տեղի ունեցավ Հայաստանի ու Ռուսաստանի բարերարների և հասարակական կազմակերպությունների ջանքերով ստեղծված «Ռուսական գրքի տուն»  ոչ պետական մշակութային կենտրոնի բացումը:
Կենտրոնում առկա է ռուսերեն հրատարակությունների լայն տեսականի։ Այն ոչ միայն ընթերցողների համար հասանելի կդարձնի ուսումնական և գեղարվեստական գրականությունը, այլև հնարավորություն կտա նրան մասնակցել մշակութային ու կրթական միջոցառումներին:
Հայաստանում Ռուսաստանի դեսպանատան խորհրդական-դեսպանորդ Ալեքսեյ Սինեգուբովը նշեց, որ կենտրոնի բացումը երկու եղբայրական ժողովուրդների՝ Ռուսաստանի և Հայաստանի միջմշակութային երկխոսությունը զարգացնելուն ուղղված ևս մեկ օրինակ է։
Նրա խոսքով՝ «Ռուսական գրքի տունը» կնպաստի կրթության ոլորտում երկկողմ շփումների ամրապնդմանը, մեր կապերի հետագա ընդլայնմանը: Սինեգուբովը կենտրոնն անվանել է ժամանակակից հարթակ, որը ստեղծվել է նորարարական առաջադեմ տեխնոլոգիաների օգտագործմամբ:
 
Այն ոչ միայն այցելուների համար հասանելի կդարձնի ռուսական, գեղարվեստական, ուսումնական և գիտական գրականությունը, այլև կդառնա ևս մեկ կապող օղակ` բազա, որը միավորում է Հայաստանի ռուսախոս երիտասարդներին, կծառայի նաև որպես հասարակական միջոցառումների անցկացման վայր:
Խորհրդականը վստահ է, որ համատեղ ջանքերով կողմերին կհաջողվի ևս մեկ խոշոր և նշանակալի նախագիծ իրականացնել։ Նա մաղթել է, որ նորաստեղծ կառույցն իրական ձգողականության կենտրոն դառնա։
 
Հայտնի գրող Յուրի Պոլյակովն իր հերթին նշեց, որ իր համար «Ռուսական գրքի տան» բացումը յուրահատուկ իրադարձություն է:
«Ինձ սերտ կապեր են միացնում Հայաստանի հետ», - նշեց Պոլյակովը։

Նա հիշեցրեց, որ հայ հանդիսատեսը դրական է գնահատել և ընդունել Ստանիսլավսկու անվան ռուսական պետական դրամատիկական թատրոնում բեմադրած իր չորս պիեսները: Պոլյակովը հույս հայտնեց, որ «Ռուսական գրքի տունը» կդառնա ռուս և հայ գրողների շփման վայր:
 
Հայաստանում առաջին անգամ կազմակերպությունը հնարավորություն կստանա օգտվել Բ. ն. Ելցինի անվան նախագահական գրադարանի ավելի քան 200 հազար անվանում հասարակական և հումանիտար գիտությունների էլեկտրոնային ֆոնդերից, բնական և տեխնիկական առարկաներից, բժշկությունից և այլ ուղղություններից: Արժեքավոր հրատարակությունները հասանելի են բուհերի ուսանողներին ու հետազոտողներին։
