Մեկ տարի է անցել այդ օրից, մեկ տարի, որ 100 տարվա տևողություն և պարունակություն ունի: Մեկ տարի՝ այդ օրից, երբ մենք բազմաթիվ զոհերի, վիրավորների, բազմաթիվ անհայտ կորածների, գերեվարության մեջ մնացած մեր եղբայրների, հայրերի, զավակների փաստի առջև ենք կանգնած: Այս մասին հայտարարել է Բագրատ Սրբազանը:

«Երբ մեր հայրենիքի արցախական աշխարհի և Հայաստանի կորուստ ունենք, ուղղակի հայրենիքի կորուստ: Լավ լսեք, հայրենիքի կորուստ: Ոչ մի այլ բան՝ հայրենիքի կորուստ, ինքնության կորուստ: Այդ հայրենիքը միայն սոսկ հողի, տարածության սահման չէ, այդ հայրենիքը մեր ողջ գիտակցությունը, ինքնությունը, մեր անցյալը, ներկան, մեր ողջ արժեհամակարգն է, այն արժեքն է, որի մեջ և համար ապրում ենք, որի համար այստեղ ենք գտնվում և ունենք հայրենիքի կորուստ»,- նշեց Բագրատ Սրբազանը՝ հավելելով, որ այս մեկ տարին մեզնից խլեց մեր եղբայրներին, սիրելիներին, հարազատներին, երբեմն՝ հիվանդության տեսքով:

Բագրատ Սրբազանը հիշեցրեց, որ Վարագա Սուրբ Խաչի տոնին՝ մեկ տարի առաջ, այս սուրբ սեղանի վրա, երբ մենք պատերազմի գույժն էինք լսում, ինքը խնդրում էր Տիրոջը, որ մեզ չամաչեցնի, խնդրում՝ մարդկայնորեն՝ ասելով՝ «մեզ մի ամաչեցրու»:

«Ես չէի էլ պատկերացնում՝ ինչ եմ խնդրում, որովհետև մեր ըմբռնումները, պատկերացումները, ապրումներն ու ցանկություններն այնպիսին էին, որ մենք մարդկայնորեն չամաչենք որպես հայ քրիստոնե մարդիկ, որ չամաչենք այն սպասվելիք արդյունքներից կամ հետևանքներից, որը դժբախտաբար լինելու էր պատերազմի պատճառով: Մենք այդ խնդրանքի և աղոթքի մեջ էինք, ով Տեր, խնդրում եմ քո սուրբ խաչի խորհրդով՝ չամաչեցնես մեզ: Ես հավատում եմ, որ Աստված չամաչեցրեց մեզ, թույլ տվեց՝ ստորանալու, նվաստանալու, անշուշտ նրանց, ովքեր ապրում են և զգում են: Թույլ տվեց, որ մեր գործած հանցանքի և մեղքին գիտակցություն ունենալու անդրադարձը, պատկերացնելու, թե ինչ հոգեվիճակում ենք մենք ապրել և այդ ամենը բացահայտվեց մեր աչքերի առջևր, ինչ են մեր արժեքները կյանքում, ուր են մեր սրտերը, ուր են մեր գանձերը »,- նշեց Բագրատ Սրբազանը՝ հավելելով, որ կեղծիքը բացահայտվեց մեր առջև, սուտը արտահայտվեց ամբողջությամբ, ինչի վրա էինք կառուցել մեր կյանքը, մտքերը, մտածումները:

Նրա խոսքով՝ այն, որ աղաղակում էինք խաղաղության մասին, ատելությունը, թշնամությունը դարձան կոնկրետ քաղաքականություն՝ մեր միտքը, մեր հոգին, մեր կյանքը պղծելու համար:

«Այդպիսին էին՝ թաքնված, արտահայտվեցին և ձևակերպում ստացան, և ուղղորդվեցին, և դարձան մեր կյանքի միսն ու արյունը, առանց որի այդ թշնամության, ատելության, մենք այլևս չենք կարող ապրել, որովհետև դա է մեր հոգու սնունդը: Ես խնդրում էի Տիրոջը՝ մեզչամաչեցնեկ, մոռացել էի խնդրելու, որ մենք իրեն չամաչեցնենք: Ոչ միայն իրեն ենք ամաչեցնում, այլև՝ մեր բազմահազար զոհերին, մեր ժառանգությանը, մեր կտակին, մեր՝ ուղղակի ստացած լինելու և ապերախտաբար մսխած լինելու»,-նշեց Սրբազանը:
