Գավառ քաղաքի Սուրբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցու բակում բացվեց եւ օրհնվեց Արցախյան վերջին պատերազմում զոհված հայորդիների հուշարձանը՝ ձեռամբ Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու Գեղարքունյաց թեմի առաջնորդական տեղապահ Տեր Պարթեւ վարդապետ Բարսեղյանի եւ աջակցությամբ թեմի հոգեւոր դասի։ 

«Արմենպրես»-ի տեղեկացմամբ՝ հուշարձանի բացման եւ օրհնության արարողությանը մասնակցեցին Գեղարքունիքի մարզպետ Կարեն Սարգսյանը, Գավառի քաղաքապետ Գուրգեն Մարտիրոսյանը, Գեղարքունիքի մարզպետարանի եւ Գավառի քաղաքապետարանի պատասխանատու աշխատակիցներ, կրթամշակութային հաստատությունների ներկայացուցիչներ, զոհված զինծառայողների ծնողներ ու հարազատներ, անհատ քաղաքացիներ։

Գեղարքունյաց թեմի առաջնորդական տեղապահի հովվապետությամբ կատարվեց նաեւ հոգեհանգստյան կարգ՝  ի հիշատակ Արցախյան 44-օրյա պատերազմում հերոսացած հայորդիների՝ Գավառ քաղաքից զորակոչված զինծառայողներ Բագրատ Սալամյանի, Անդրանիկ Գրիգորյանի, Արմեն Աղեկյանի, Խաչատուր Ազիզյանի, Մարատ Դադոյանի, Քերոբ Չատիկյանի, Ռաֆիկ Հակոբյանի, Աղաս Խունոյանի, Արամ Պողոսյանի, Վահագն Աֆրիկյանի, Արտյոմ Մկրտչյանի, Յուրա Զախարյանի եւ Հայկ Գեւորգյանի։Օրհնության եւ հոգեհանգստյան կարգ կատարելու ընթացքում մենք մտովի տեղափոխվեցինք մեկ տարի հետ, երբ թշնամին պատերազմ սանձազերծեց մեր հայրենիքի դեմ, և մենք ազգովի պայքարի ելանք։ Այդ օրերին մեր ժողովուրդը մի բռունցք էր դարձել, իսկ նրա ծոցից ծնված բազմաթիվ քաջորդիներ հերոսացան,- արարողության մասնակիցներին դիմեց Տեր Պարթեւ վարդապետ Բարսեղյանը։- Նրանց շարքերում էին Գավառ քաղաքը ներկայացնող այն տասներեք քաջորդիները, որոնց անունները հավերժացան մեր պատմության էջերում։ Սիրելի սգակիր ծնողներ, ձեր զավակներով ողջ ազգն է հպարտանում, ձեր զավակների թափած արյունը զուր չի կորչելու։ Մենք պետք է կրկին բռունցքվենք, դառնանք ավելի միահավաք ու միակամ, որպեսզի կառուցենք ու շենացնենք մեր հայրենիքը, հանուն որի խաղաղ ու լուսավոր գալիքների իրենց կյանքը զոհաբերեցին մեր հերոսները։ Շնորհակալ ենք բոլոր նրանց, որոնց ջանքերով կյանքի կոչվեց այս հուշարձանը, որը ներկա ու գալիք սերունդներին կպատմի մեր հերոսների սխրանքների մասին։ Խոնարհում ու փառք հայրենիքի համար նահատակված մեր բոլոր հերոսների սուրբ հիշատակին¦,-իր խոսքն ամփոփեց Տեր Պարթեւ վարդապետ Բարսեղյանը։

Արարողության մասնակիցները ծաղկեպսակ դրեցին եւ ծաղիկներ խոնարհեցին նորաբաց հուշարձանին։
