Պետական այցով Իտալիայում գտնվող՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանն այսօր հանդիպել է Իտալիայի Պատգամավորների պալատի նախագահ Ռոբերտո Ֆիկոյի հետ:

Ողջունելով Հայաստանի նախագահի պետական այցը Իտալիա՝ Ռոբերտո Ֆիկոն նշել է, որ այն լավ հնարավորություն է քննարկելու ինչպես երկու երկրների, այնպես էլ խորհրդարանների միջև գործընկերային հարաբերությունները։ «Մենք բարձր ենք գնահատում Հայաստանի հետ բարեկամությունը, և հուսով եմ, որ մեր երկու խորհրդարաններն իրենց գործունեությամբ ավելի կամրապնդեն այդ հարաբերությունները»,- ասել է Իտալիայի Պատգամավորների պալատի նախագահը՝ նշելով, որ մեծ հետաքրքրություն ունեն Հայաստանի նկատմամբ և շահագրգռված են տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության ու կայունության հաստատմամբ։

Նախագահ Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանը մեծ նշանակություն է տալիս Իտալիայի հետ բոլոր ուղղություններով փոխգործակցության ամրապնդմանը՝ միջխորհրդարանական համագործակցությունը համարելով միջպետական հարաբերությունների կարևոր բաղադրիչ։ «Հավատում եմ հայ-իտալական բարեկամությանն ու փոխգործակցության զարգացման իրական ներուժին և ձգտում եմ գործել հօգուտ այդ գործակցության զարգացման,- ասել է նախագահ Սարգսյանը։ -Ձեր երկրում մեծ փորձառություն ունեցող խորհրդարանական ժողովրդավարություն ունեք։ Հայաստանն ընդամենը երեք տարվա խորհրդարանական հանրապետություն է, և մենք ձեզնից սովորելու շատ բան ունենք»։

Նախագահ Սարգսյանը կարևորել է Հայաստանի Ազգային ժողովի և Իտալիայի խորհրդարանի երկու պալատների համագործակցությունը և, այդ համատեքստում, Ռոբերտո Ֆիկոյի՝ Հայաստան ծրագրված այցը, ինչպես նաև խորհրդարաններում գործող բարեկամական խմբերի ակտիվ աշխատանքը:

Հայաստանի նախագահն իր երախտագիտությունն է հայտնել 2019թ․ ապրիլի 10-ին Պատգամավորների պալատի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման վերաբերյալ որոշման և այդ հարցում անձամբ Ռոբերտո Ֆիկոյի դիրքորոշման համար, ինչը լավագույնս է փաստում Իտալիայի հավատարմությունը ցեղասպանության հանցագործությունը կանխարգելելու և պատժելու մասին կոնվենցիայով ստանձնած պարտավորություններին։

Հանդիպմանը նախագահ Սարգսյանն անդրադարձել է նաև արցախյան 44-օրյա պատերազմին, դրա հետևանքով երկրում և տարածաշրջանում ստեղծված իրավիճակին և հատկապես մարդասիրական խնդիրներին: Նա երախտագիտությամբ է հիշել այս տարվա մարտի 2-ին Իտալիայի խորհրդարանի ընդունած բանաձևը, որով կոչ է արվում ազատ արձակել հայ ռազմագերիներին:

Զրուցակիցները երկկողմ հարաբերությունների օրակարգի կարևոր ուղղություններից են համարել Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն համագործակցությունը, որտեղ Իտալիան իր ծանրակշիռ դերակատարումն ունի: Նախագահ Սարգսյանը նշել է, որ Հայաստանը բարձր է գնահատում ԵՄ-ի հետ իրականացվող բազմակողմանի համագործակցությունն այնպիսի ոլորտներում, ինչպիսիք են՝ ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտների ամրապնդումը, մարդու իրավունքները, կայուն զարգացման ու արդյունավետ կառավարման համատեղ ծրագրերի իրականացումը:
