Հոկտեմբերի 21-ին ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը հանդիպել է Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետության Սենատի նախագահի տեղակալ Պասկալ Գրյունիին:

Ալեն Սիմոնյանը նշել է, որ ֆրանսիացի գործընկերների հետ հանդիպումները մշտապես առանձնանում են բարեկամական ջերմ երանգներով: ԱԺ նախագահի խոսքով՝ երկու երկրների ու ժողովուրդների միջեւ անկեղծ բարեկամության վկայությունն է նաեւ անցած տարի Ֆրանսիայի եւ նրա ժողովրդի ցուցաբերած աջակցությունը Հայաստանին եւ հայ ժողովրդին նախ կորոնավիրուսի համավարակի դեմ պայքարում, ապա աղետաբեր պատերազմի ընթացքում: Այս համատեքստում հիշատակվել է նաեւ Ֆրանսիայի խորհրդարանի զույգ պալատների կողմից Արցախի դեմ ադրբեջանաթուրքական ագրեսիան դատապարտող, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության ճանաչման անհրաժեշտության վերաբերալ բանաձեւերի ընդունումը: ՀՀ օրենսդիր մարմնի ղեկավարը շեշտել է, որ Հայաստանը մշտապես բարձր է գնահատել Ֆրանսիայի ծանրակշիռ դերը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման միակ միջազգայնորեն ճանաչված ձեւաչափում՝ որպես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահող երկիր:

Կողմերն անդրադարձել են միջխորհրդարանական հարաբերություններին՝ փաստելով դրանց հատկանշական դերը Հայաստանի ու Ֆրանսիայի միջեւ քաղաքական երկխոսությունը զարգացնելու եւ հարստացնելու գործում:

Ֆրանսիայի Սենատի փոխնախագահն Ալեն Սիմոնյանին է փոխանցել Սենատի նախագահի հրավերը՝  այց կատարելու Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետություն: Նա նաեւ ներկայացրել է մոտ ապագայում ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի հետ փոխգործակցության հուշագիր ստորագրելու` Ֆրանսիայի Սենատի նախագահի առաջարկը:

Զրույց է ծավալվել նաեւ բազմակողմ հարթակներում հայ-ֆրանսիական խորհրդարանական արդյունավետ համագործակցության շուրջ:
