Առուշ Առուշանյանի հայրը` Գագիկ Առուշանյանը, պատասխանել է ՔՊ-ական պատգամավոր Վահագն Ալեքսանյանի հայտարարությանը.

«Ի ՊԱՏԱՍԽԱՆ ՝ ՔՊ-ական պատգամավոր Վահագն Ալեքսանյանի այսօրվա հայտարարությանը, թե ես Գորիսի ՏԻՄ ընտրությունների ժամանակ դռնեդուռ եմ ընկել ու խնդրել ժողովրդին ընտրել տղայիս․

Չէի ուզում այս մասին խոսել, բայց պահի թելադրանքով ու անհրաժեշտությամբ ստիպված եմ․

Ընտրությունների ողջ ընթացքն անցել է բացարձակ անհավասար մրցակցային պայմաններում.

Առաջինը՝ տղայիս այս ողջ ընտրական շրջանում ապօրինաբար, առանց որևէ էական հիմքի պահում էին անազատության մեջ, որպեսզի չմասնակցեր քարոզարշավի ընթացքին։

Երկրորդը՝ երբ տեսան ժողովրդի շարունակվող սերն ու հարգանքը տղայիս նկատմամբ՝ չնայած տղայիս անազատության մեջ լինելուն, սկսեցին տարածել տասնյակ միֆեր այն մասին, թե եթե անգամ Առուշը հաղթի, միևնույն է ազատ չի արձակվելու և Համայնքը լուրջ վնասներ է կրելու։

Երրորդը՝ քարոզարշավի ողջ ընթացքում, օգտագործելով քարոզչական բոլոր ռեսուրսներն ու լծակները, փորձեցին իջեցնել տղայիս վարկն ու համբավը։

Չորրորդը՝ ընտրության օրը ՝ հոկտեմբերի 17-ին, եկան և խաթարեցին շտաբի աշխատանքները չորս ժամ շարունակ՝ մինչ ընտրության ավարտը՝ կրկին կեղծ մեղադրանքով ու խուզարկությամբ, թե իբր ես կաշառք եմ բաժանել ժողովրդին և ուղղորդել ընտրել տղայիս։

Ի ՏԱՐԲԵՐՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ իշխանական թևի, ով ողջ քարոզարշավի ընթացքում օգտագործեց վարչական բոլոր անթույլատրելի ռեսուրսները, օգտագործեց բոլոր հնարավոր ու անհնար լծակները հաղթանակի անիվը իր կողմը շրջելու համար, ընտրության նախօրեին հայտարարեց Սյունիքի մարզին հատկացվող մեկ միլիարդ դրամի մասին, ընտրության օրը Գորիսը լցրեց Երևանից եկած կարմիր, սև ու գույնզգույն բերետավորներով՝ ԵՍ ԴՌՆԵԴՈՒՌ ՉԵՄ ԸՆԿԵԼ ՈՒ ՉԵՄ ԽՆԴՐԵԼ ԻՄ ԺՈՂՈՎՐԴԻՆ ԸՆՏՐԵԼ ՏՂԱՅԻՍ։ Ժողովուրդն իմաստուն է և իր ողջախոհությամբ ընտրեց արժանավորին։ Կրկին անգամ շնորհակալ եմ ժողովրդիս ողջամիտ և արդարամիտ ընտրության համար։

Տղաս կարիքը չի ունեցել անգամ որևէ քարոզարշավի, կամ որևէ գովազդի, քանի որ իր փոխարեն խոսել են իր կատարած աշխատանքները և ժողովրդի հանդեպ ունեցած սերն ու հարգանքը։
Մենք չենք կոծկել, կամ ինչպես պարոն ՔՊ-ականն է ասում՝ չենք դիստանցիավորվել «Հայաստան» դաշինքից։ Տղաս եղել է ու շարունակում է մնալ «Հայաստան» դաշինքի անդամը, բայց ՏԻՄ ընտրություններին ներկայացավ իր անունը կրող «Առուշ Առուշանյան» դաշինքով, որ ևս մեկ անգամ հաստատի, որ կարևորը ոչ թե կուսակցությունն է, այլ կատարած գործն ու ներդրած ջանքերը։

Ինչն էլ ժողովուրդը վերահաստատեց իր ընտրությամբ։

Ծանր է պարտվել անազատության մեջ գտնվող թեկնածուին, բայց եթե պարտվել եք, ընդունեք պարտությունն արժանապատիվ։
Եվ վերջում ուզում եմ դիմել իմ սիրելի կապացիներին․

Սիրելի՛ կապացիներ, կոչ եմ անում Ձեզ Կապանի ՏԻՄ ընտրություններում Ձեր վստահության քվեով ապահովել Գևորգ Փարսյանի առաջնորդած «Շանթ» դաշինքի հաղթանակը և այդպիսով ապացուցել, որ Սյունիքը մերժում է ցանկացած նահանջ ու թուրքի հետ յուրաքանչյուր համագործակցություն, ապացուցել, որ Սյունեցու համար կարևոր են իր Հայրենիքի անառիկությունն ու Հայի արժանապատվությունը»։
