Երեկ ՏՄՊՊՀ նախագահ Գեղամ Գևորգյանը բավական ուշագրավ հայտարարությամբ է հանդես եկել՝ փաստացի բացահայտելով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի և վերջինիս քաղաքական թիմի պոպուլիզմը: Գևորգյանը, մասնավորապես, նշել էր, թե ակնկալել, որ Հայաստանը բենզին կներկրի միանգամից մի քանի երկրներից, օբյեկտիվ չէ, քանի որ կան որոշակի տարածաշրջանային եւ սահմանային խնդիրներ։

Մինչդեռ, ինչպես գիտենք, հեղափոխությունից հետո Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը և ՔՊ-ականները, մեկը մյուսին հերթ չզիջելով, հայտարարում էին, որ կառավարությունն անելու է ամեն բան, որպեսզի ընդլայնվի բենզինի ներկրման երկրների աշխարհագրությունը և դա էլ իր հերթին հանգեցնի մենաշնորհի կոտրմանն ու բենզինի գների նվազմանը: Հեղափոխությունից հետո անցել է երեք տարի, սակայն բենզինի գները Հայաստանում շարունակում են ռեկորդային բարձր լինել և օրեցօր նորանոր ռեկորդներ խփել, իսկ մենաշնորհ ունեցող ընկերությունների թիվը եթե չի էլ ավելացել, առնվազն՝ չի պակասել: Գևորգյանը նաև բացառեց, որ բենզինի գները մոտ ժամանակներում կարող են նվազել, պատճառն էլ հասկանալի է ՝ վառելիքը գնվում է մեկ երկրից: 

Ըստ էության, Գևորգյանը հերթական անգամ ի ցույց է դնում հեղափոխական իշխանությունների խոստումների մերկապարանոց լինելը և վերջիններիս կողմից հանրությանը մոլորեցնելու բացահայտ փորձերը: Կառավարությունը հեղափոխությունից հետո ոչինչ չի արել բենզինի գները նվազեցնելու և ներկրման աշխարհագրությունը ընդլայնելու ուղղությամբ և, կարծես թե, չի էլ անելու, քանի որ դա, ըստ պատկան մարմնի ղեկավարի,՝ անհնար է:
