Ուղիղ այսքան ժամանակ ՀՀ ԱԱԾ նախկին տնօրեն, «Հայրենիք» կուսակցության ղեկավար, ԱԺ պատգամավոր, «Պատիվ ունեմ» խմբակցության ղեկավար Արթուր Վանեցյանը հանիրավի քրեական հետապնդման ենթարկվեց պետական գործչի (Նիկոլ Փաշինյան) սպանության նախապատրաստության և իշխանությունը յուրացնելու նախապատրաստության համար։ Նման հայտարարությամբ են հանդես եկել ԱԺ «Պատիվ ունեմ» խմբակցության ղեկավար Արթուր Վանեցյանի պաշտպաններ Լուսինե Սահակյանը և Երվանդ Վարոսյանը։

«Այս քրեական հետապնդումը զուգորդվեց Արթուր Վանեցյանի ձերբակալությամբ, նրա նկատմամբ կալանավորումը որպես խափանման միջոց ընտրելու վերաբերյալ դատարան ներկայացված միջնորդությամբ, որն ի դեպ դատարանում անձամբ ներկայացնում էր ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազի տեղակալը, այնուհետև Արթուր Վանեցյանին կալանավորելու փորձերը շարունակվեցին նաև վերաքննիչ ու վճռաբեկ ատյաններում։ Խուզարկություններ իրականացվեցին ոչ միայն Արթուր Վանեցյանի բնակարանում, այլ նաև նրա ծնողների բնակարանում, «Հայրենիք» զարգացման հիմնադրամի գրասենյակում։ Հեռուստատեսությամբ պարբերաբար եթեր էր հեռարձակվում ահասառսուռ ձայնով մի տեսահոլովակ, որ պատմում էր Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի սպանությունը նախապատրաստող խմբի մասին։ Այս ողջ ընթացքում Արթուր Վանեցյանի նկատմամբ կիրառված էր խափանման միջոց, սահմանափակված էր նրա սահմանային տեղաշարժը։

Այս քրեական գործի քննության առաջին իսկ օրվանից ակնհայտ էր, որ գործ ունենք մտացածին, որևէ բանական հիմք չունեցող մեղադրանքների հետ։ Արթուր Վանեցյանի նկատմամբ կալանավորումը որպես խափանման միջոց ընտրելու մասին միջնորդությունը մերժելու վերաբերյալ դատարանի կողմից կայացված որոշմամբ էր անգամ հաստատվել, որ առկա չէ հիմնավոր կասկածը, թե Արթուր Վանեցյանը հնարավոր է առնչություն ունենա իրեն վերագրվող արարքներին։

ԵՒ նման պայմաններում է, որ միայն 2021 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 24-ին ՀՀ ԱԱԾ Քննչական դեպարտամենտի քննիչի կողմից կայացված որոշմամբ դադարեցվել է Արթուր Վանեցյանի նկատմամբ ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 35-300-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասով և 35-305-րդ հոդվածով իրականացվող քրեական հետապնդումը` հանցակազմի բացակայության պատճառաբանությամբ, միաժամանակ վերացվել է նրա նկատմամբ ընտրված խափանման միջոցը։ Կայացված որոշմամբ փաստվել է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի սպանության նախապատրաստություն կամ իշխանության յուրացման նախապատրաստություն առկասարակ տեղի չի ունեցել»,- նշված է հաղորդագրությունում
