ԱՄՆ դեսպանության և ՀՀ դատախազության համագործակցությամբ հանձնվել է փախուստի մեջ գտնվող ԱՄՆ քաղաքացի

ԱՄՆ և ՀՀ իրավապահների, դատախազների շարունակական համագործակցության և ամուր գործընկերության արդյունքում 2022թ․ հունվարի 10-ին Հայաստանի կողմից Միացյալ Նահանգներին փոխանցվեց հետախուզման մեջ գտնվող ԱՄՆ մի քաղաքացի, հայտնում են ԱՄՆ դեսպանատնից։

Ինտերպոլի կողմից «կարմիր» միջազգային հետախուզում հայտարարելուց հետո հիշյալ ԱՄՆ քաղաքացին 2021թ․ օգոստոսին ձերբակալվել էր Երևանում՝ ՀՀ ոստիկանության կողմից։ Սա հնարավոր էր դարձել Պետքարտուղարության դիվանագիտական անվտանգության ծառայության քննչական գործողությունների շնորհիվ։ Հիշյալ անձը հետախուզվում էր Հետաքննությունների դաշնային բյուրոյի կողմից երեխայի նկատմամբ սեռական բռնության մեղադրանքով։

Հետախուզման մեջ գտնվողի հանձնումը հնարավոր եղավ ՀՀ Գլխավոր դատախազության եռանդուն ջանքերի և ԱՄՆ Արդարադատության դեպարտամենտի Միջազգային գործերի գրասենյակի, ԱՄՆ դատական կատարածուների ծառայության Միջազգային հետաքննությունների բաժանմունքի, ՀԴԲ իրավական կցորդի (նստավայրը՝ Թբիլիսի) և ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպանության համագործակցության շնորհիվ։

«Միջազգային համագործակցությունը անդրազգային հանցավորության դեմ պայքարում առանցքային նշանակություն ունի և մենք բարձր ենք գնահատում ՀՀ Գլխավոր դատախազության և ՀՀ իրավապահների հետ մեր համագործակցությունը, որը թույլ տվեց ձերբակալել և ԱՄՆ-ին փոխանցել հիշյալ անձին։ Սա արդեն 5-րդ անգամն է, երբ աշխատելով մեր հայ գործընկերների հետ հետախուզման մեջ գտնվող անձինք վերադարձվում են Միացյալ Նահանգներ՝ պատասխանատվության ենթարկվելու իրենց գործած հանցանքների համար», - ասաց ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Լին Մ․ Թրեյսին։

Հետախուզվողն ԱՄՆ-ում կկանգնի դատարանի առաջ։ Ենթադրյալ հանցանքի մեջ մեղադրվողը համարվում է անմեղ, քանի դեռ նրա մեղավորությունն ապացուցված չէ ԱՄՆ դատարանի կողմից։
