ՄԱԿ-ի անդամ դառնալով, որևէ պետություն չի ստանձնում ՄԱԿ-ի անդամ այլ պետությունների նկատմամբ երբևէ տարածքային ամբողջականության հետ կապված, պետական սահմանները ճշգրտելուն ուղղված հարցեր չբարձրացնելու պարտավորություն: Այս մասին Facebook-ի իր էջում գրել է Իրավագիտության դոկտոր, արդարադատության նախկին նախարար Գևորգ Դանիելյանը:

Նա, մասնավորապես, նշել է. «Վերջապես, շրջանառությունից հանեք, մեղմ ասած, այն անհիմն թեզը, թե ՄԱԿ-ի անդամություն ստանձնելով պետություն իբր անվերապահորեն ճանաչում է մյուս պետությունների տարածքային ամբողջականությունը:

ՄԱԿ-ի կանոնադրությունը բոլորովին այլ ուղղվածություն ունի, այն ընդամենը մեկ անգամ է անդրադառնում տարածքային ամբողջականության խնդրին և այն էլ ընդգծում  է բացառապես «ցանկացած այլ պետության տարածքային ամբողջականության կամ քաղաքական անկախության նկատմամբ և/կամ Միավորված ազգերի նպատակներին անհարիր որևէ այլ ձևով ուժի գործադրումից կամ դրա սպառնալիքից» ձեռնպահ մնալու պարտավորությունը:

Այլ կերպ ասած, պետությունը պարտավորվում է սոսկ ուժի կամ դրա գործադրման սպառնալիքով չխախտել տարածքային ամբողջականությունը, ընդ որում, ազգային ինքնորոշման իրավունքի իրացումը բացարձակապես այդ սկզբունքի խախտում չի համարվում:

Առաջիկայում առավել հանգամանորեն կանդրադառնամ էլ ավելի արդիական հարցերի՝ կապված սահմանազատման, սահմանագծման և պետության տարածքային ամբողջականության ենթադրյալ անխուսափելի կապին, չճանաչված պետության հետ միջազգային հարաբերությունների հնարավոր սահմաններին և այլ նույնաբնույթ խնդիրներին...»։
