Մեր երկրի հայ համայնքը, ինչպես որ աշխարհասփյուռ հայությունը, այս ամսաթիվը ընդունել է որպես սեփական ցավերի հիշատակի օր։ Մենք էլ, չնայած գիտենք, թե ինչ է եղել այդ օրը, հարգանք ենք ցուցաբերել հայկական համայնքի այդ ընտրության հանդեպ և տևական ժամանակ է, ինչ վերջիններիս ուղերձ ենք հղում՝ կիսելով իրենց ցավը»։ Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է թյուրքագետ Վարուժան Գեղամյանը։

«2021 թ. ապրիլ 26-ին Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռ.Թ. Էրդողանը Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը հերքել փորձող իր հերթական ծավալուն ելույթում ոչ թե խոսեց «ընդհանուր ցավի» կամ «անցյալի ցավոտ դեպքերի մասին», այլ, ընդհակառակը, մեղադրեց հայերին «թուրքերին ու մուսուլմաններին կոտորելու» մեջ.

«Վանից Կարս, Էրզրումից Անատոլիայի խորքերը ընկած բազմաթիվ վայրերում հայկական հրոսակախմբերի կողմից սպանվել է թուրք և քուրդ ամբողջությամբ խաղաղ բնակչությունը, որոնց թիվը հաշվվում է միլիոններով։...Հայկական չեթեները չեն բախվել թուրքական բանակի կամ քաղաքները պաշտպանող զինված թուրքական ժանդարմների հետ, այլ միայն սպանել են անմեղ ու անպաշտպան մարդկանց»։
Ապա նաև բացահայտեց, թե ինչ է Թուրքիայի էլիտան մտածում Ապրիլ 24-ի խորհրդի մասին.

«Շատ լավ, ի՞նչ է եղել ապրիլի 24-ին։ Իրականում ապրիլի 24-ին մարդկային ողբերգության առումով ոչ մի բան չի եղել։ 1915 թվականի ապրիլի 24-ն ընդամենը Օսմանյան կայսրության դեմ պատերազմող երկրների հետ միավորված և մեր դեմ գործունեություն ծավալած Դաշնակցական, Հնչակյան և Ռամկավար և այլ նմանատիպ կառույցների փակման և դրանց 235 ղեկավարի ձերբակալման օրն է։ Այդ ժամանակ դեռևս խոսք չկար որևէ կորստի մասին, քանի որ չկար ոչ տեղահանության մասին կանոնը, ոչ էլ դրա կիրառումը։ Մեր երկրի հայ համայնքը, ինչպես որ աշխարհասփյուռ հայությունը, այս ամսաթիվը ընդունել է որպես սեփական ցավերի հիշատակի օր։ Մենք էլ, չնայած գիտենք, թե ինչ է եղել այդ օրը, հարգանք ենք ցուցաբերել հայկական համայնքի այդ ընտրության հանդեպ և տևական ժամանակ է, ինչ վերջիններիս ուղերձ ենք հղում՝ կիսելով իրենց ցավը»։

Այս ֆոնին իհարկե առավել զավեշտալի է, թե ինչպես է ՀՀ դե ֆակտո թուրքամետ իշխանական խմբավորումը խոսում «խաղաղության միջոցով անվտանգություն ապահովելու» մասին։
