Մայիսի 3-ին Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանն ընդունել է Ֆրանսիայի Սենատի Ֆրանսիա-Հայաստան բարեկամական խմբի նախագահ Ժիլբեր-Լյուկ Դըվինազի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը:

Ողջունելով հյուրերին` Ալեն Սիմոնյանը շեշտել է Ֆրանսիայի Սենատի հետ ջերմ հարաբերությունները` հավելելով, որ միշտ ուրախ է ընդունել Հայաստանի, Արցախի եւ հայ ժողովրդի լավագույն բարեկամներին:

Նա գոհունակությամբ է անդրադարձել Սենատի Ֆրանսիա-Հայաստան բարեկամական խմբի կազմի ընդլայնմանը` նշելով, որ այն երկու երկրների միջեւ ամուր համագործակցության վկայությունն է:

Կողմերը շնորհավորել են միմյանց դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատման 30-ամյակի առթիվ: ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը շնորհավորանքներ է փոխանցել Սենատի նախագահ Ժերար Լարշեին` նշելով, որ երեսուն տարիների ընթացքում մեր երկրների միջեւ ձեւավորվել է բարձր մակարդակի քաղաքական սերտ փոխգործակցություն:

Հանդիպմանը քննարկվել է բարեկամության խմբերի կարեւոր դերը Հայաստանի ու Ֆրանսիայի միջեւ քաղաքական երկխոսությունը զարգացնելու եւ հարստացնելու գործում: ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը երախտագիտությամբ է հիշել Ֆրանսիա-Հայաստան բարեկամական խմբի գործուն մասնակցությամբ 2020թ. 44-օրյա պատերազմի, 2020թ. հուլիսի հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանային բախումներ հրահրելու վերաբերյալ մի շարք դատապարտող բանաձեւերի ընդունումը:

Այս համատեքստում նա հույս է հայտնել, որ ֆրանսիացի գործընկերները կշարունակեն ջանքեր գործադրել հայ ռազմագերիներին օր առաջ հայրենիք վերադարձնելու, Արցախի` ադրբեջանական վերահսկողության տակ հայտնված տարածքներում հայկական պատմամշակութային եւ կրոնական ժառանգության փրկության ուղղությամբ:

Ֆրանսիական կողմը վերահաստատել է այդ հարցում իր գործուն աջակցությունը` հավելելով, որ երկրների մշակութային արժեքները համամարդկային ժառանգություն են:

Կողմերն անդրադարձել են 2021թ. նոյեմբերի 20-23-ին ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահի` Ֆրանսիա կատարած այցի ընթացքում վերաստորագրված Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետության Սենատի եւ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Ազգային ժողովի միջեւ համագործակցության վերաբերյալ համաձայնագրին, ինչն էլ ավելի է խորացնում արդեն իսկ գոյություն ունեցող բարեկամական եւ գործնական հարաբերությունները:
