Ռուսական զորքերը երկրորդ օրն է՝ գնդակոծում են «Ազովստալ» գործարանը, հայտնում են Ազովի գնդի և Ուկրաինայի իշխանությունների ներկայացուցիչները։

 «Վերջին 24 ժամվա ընթացքում Մարիուպոլի պաշտպանների կողմից անցկացվող «Ազովստալ» գործարանի տարածքում իրականացվել է 34 թռիչք, այդ թվում՝ ռազմավարական ռմբակոծիչների 8 թռիչք՝ թշնամու նավ և թնդանոթային հրետանի, MLRS, UR-77, տանկեր և այլն»,- ասվում է հաղորդագրության մեջ։

 Մարիուպոլի քաղաքապետի խորհրդական Պետր Անդրյուշչենկոն ասել է, որ Ազովստալի տարածքում, բացի զինվորականներից, մոտ 100 խաղաղ բնակիչ է մնացել։  Նույնը նախօրեին ասել է Դոնեցկի վարչակազմի ղեկավար Պետր Կիրիլենկոն։

«Ավելի հեշտ է ասել, երբ նրանք չեն հրետակոծում, քան երբ հրետակոծում են: Ավիացիան և հրետանին աշխատում են այնտեղ գրեթե անընդհատ: Կանգառներ և հանդարտություններ են տեղի ունենում, երբ տարհանման միջոցառումներ են իրականացվում կամ հենց Ազովստալից, կամ տեղացի խաղաղ բնակիչները տարհանվում են մոտակայքում»,-ասաց Կիրիլենկոն: 

Մայիսի 7-ին Ուկրաինայի փոխվարչապետ Իրինա Վերեշչուկը հայտարարել է, որ Ազովստալից բոլոր կանայք, երեխաներն ու տարեցները տարհանվել են։  Ավելի ուշ Ազովի գնդի ներկայացուցիչները հայտնել են, որ խաղաղ բնակիչները կարող են մնալ փլատակների տակ, որոնք հնարավոր չի եղել ապամոնտաժել։
