Ժնևում Առողջապահության համաշխարհային 75-րդ վեհաժողովի շրջանակներում Առողջապահության նախարար Անահիտ Ավանեսյանը հանդիպել է Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության (ԱՀԿ) գլխավոր տնօրեն Թեդրոս Ադհանոմ Գեբրեյեսուսին:

Նախարարը շնորհավորել է ԱՀԿ գլխավոր տնօրենին վերընտրվելու առիթով:

Անահիտ Ավանեսյանը ներկայացրել է Հայաստանի առողջապահության ոլորտի առաջնահերթությունները և նախատեսվող ծրագրերը: Մասնավորապես՝ անդրադարձել է առողջապահական ընդհանուր ծածկույթ ապահովելուն ուղղված աշխատանքներին, այդ թվում առողջության համապարփակ ապահովագրության ներդրմանը, առողջության առաջնային պահպանման օղակի զարգացման հեռանկարներին: Միաժամանակ, անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև առողջ ապրելակերպի խրախուսման ու խթանման ուղղությամբ իրականացվող քայլերին:

Թեդրոս Ադհանոմ Գեբրեյեսուսին շնորհավորել է «Ծխախոտային արտադրատեսակների և դրանց փոխարինիչների օգտագործման հետևանքով առողջությանը հասցվող վնասի նվազեցման և կանխարգելման մասին» օրենքի ընդունման կապակցությամբ և ուրախությամբ նշել, որ առաջնահերթությունները երկուստեք համընկնում են: ԱՀԿ գլխավոր տնօրենին բարձր է գնահատել Հայաստանի կառավարության ջանքերն առողջապահության ոլորտը գերակա ուղղություն ճանաչելու և ոլորտի զարգացման համար ռեսուրսներ ուղղելու հարցում:

Նախարարը Թեդրոս Ադհանոմ Գեբրեյեսուսին հրավիրել է Հայաստան` մասնակցելու Երևանում հոկտեմբերի 5-7-ն անցկացվելիք Արագ արձագանքման բժշկական թիմերի 5-րդ գլոբալ հանդիպմանը:
