Փոխվարչապետ Համբարձում Մաթևոսյանն այսօր Լոռու մարզպետ Արամ Խաչատրյանի, ԱԺ պատգամավորներ Արփի Դավոյանի և Արմեն Խաչատրյանի, ինչպես նաև Վանաձորի համայնքապետի պաշտոնակատար Արկադի Փելեշյանի հետ Հանրապետության տոնի կապակցությամբ այցելել է Վանաձոր քաղաքի Կոտրած եկեղեցի հուշակոթող։

Գուգարաց թեմի առաջնորդ Հովնան Եպիսկոպոս Հակոբյանի հանդիսապետությամբ իրականացված հոգեհանգստյան կարգից հետո ողջույնի խոսքով հանդես է եկել փոխվարչապետը և նշել․

«Սրբազա՛ն Հայր,

Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,

Սիրելի՛ վանաձորցիներ,

Մոտ մեկ դար առաջ՝ այս նույն օրերին, երբ թվում էր, թե ամեն ինչ կորսված է, և չկա ելք, ի փառս քաջ հայորդիների՝ հուսահատությունը վերածվեց ոգևորության, որի արդյունքում ունեցանք Սարդարապատի, Բաշ Ապարանի ու Ղարաքիլիսայի հերոսամարտերը։

Փա՛ռք ու պատիվ բոլոր այն հերոսներին, որոնք հայրենիքի փրկության համար զոհեցին իրենց կյանքը, պայքարեցին հանուն պետականության։

Եվ այսօր՝ մայիսի 28-ին, մեծ պատիվ է ինձ համար ներկա գտնվել ու մասնակցել Ղարաքիլիսայի հերոսամարտին նվիրված այս արարողությանն ու աղոթել առ Աստված՝ մեր նահատակների հոգիների հանգստության համար։

Ժամանակներն անցել են, սակայն մարտահրավերներն ու դրանց դիմակայելու բանաձևը չեն փոխվել, այն է՝ միասնությունը, կամքն ու հավատը։

Կարծում եմ, որ այս եռամիասնության ու անմնացորդ աշխատանքի շնորհիվ մենք ունենալու ենք հզոր ու անկոտրում բանակ և ուժեղ պետություն։

Ուրեմն, կեցցե՛ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը,

Կեցցե՛ն բոլոր ժամանակների հերոսները,

Շնորհավո՛ր բոլորիս Հանրապետության տոնը»։

Պատգամավոր Արփի Դավոյանի ողջույնի խոսքից հետո փոխվարչապետ Համբարձում Մաթևոսյանը ծաղկեպսակ է դրել Ղարաքիլիսայի ճակատամարտի հերոսների հիշատակը հավերժացնող հուշակոթողին և հարգանքի տուրք մատուցել նրանց հիշատակին:
