Երեխաների պաշտպանության միջազգային օրը գումարված ավագանու նիստին տեղական ինքնակառավարման բարձրագույն մարմնի դերում երևանյան դպրոցների աշակերտներն էին: Նիստը վարում էր քաղաքապետ Հրաչյա Սարգսյանը: Միջոցառմանը ներկա էին քաղաքապետի տեղակալները, ավագանու անդամներ և ոլորտի հրավիրված մասնագետներ։

«Քաղաքապետը` երեխաների համար» խորագրով միջոցառումը կազմակերպվել է Երեխաների և սոցիալական պաշտպանության վարչության նախաձեռնությամբ: Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի պաշտոնական էջում տեղադրված հայտարարության համաձայն՝ երեխաները նախապես ներկայացրել էին զեկույցներ, որոնք քաղաքապետարանում ձևավորված աշխատանքային խումբը գնահատել էր 10 բալանոց սանդղակով: Արդյունքում ընտրվել էր 64 զեկույց, որոնց հեղինակներն էլ հրավիրվել են մասնակցելու ավագանու նիստին: Էլեկտրոնային քարտեզ՝ զբոսաշրջիկների համար, էկո կրթություն, ջրահեռացման համակարգեր, քաղաքային տրանսպորտ, թափառող շների խնդիրներ. օրակարգում քաղաքին վերաբերող տարբեր հարցեր էին ընդգրկված: Քվեարկության դրվեց լավագույն 9-ը աշխատանք:

Պատանի օրենսդիրների պատկերացումները տարբեր էին քաղաքային տնտեսության կառավարման հարցում: Բարձրացված խնդիրների ու առաջարկների վերաբերյալ քաղաքապետ Հրաչյա Սարգսյանը ներկայացրեց նախաձեռնված ծրագրերն ու քաղաքային իշխանության մոտեցումները:

«Հետաքրքիր է լսել բոլոր այն առաջարկները, որոնք ներկայացնում են տարիքային այս խմբի սաները: Մոտ ապագայում հենց նրանց է վստահվելու ինչպես քաղաքի կառավարման, այնպես էլ երկրի զարգացման կարևոր առաքելությունը: Շնորհակալ եմ հնչեցված հետաքրքիր մտքերի ու գաղափարների համար: Այսօր մենք օրվա ընթացքում մեծ քանակությամբ տեղեկատվություն ենք ստանում, և շատ կարևոր է ճիշտ տարբերակել ճշգրիտ տեղեկատվությունը կեղծից»,- նշել է քաղաքապետն ու մեկ անգամ ևս շնորհավորել դպրոցական ավագանու անդամներին՝ Երեխաների պաշտպանության միջազգային օրվա առթիվ:

Օրակարգում ընդգրկված 9 նախագծից հավանության արժանացավ 4-ը: Աշակերտների քվեարկության արդյունքում ծրագրերից առավել իրատեսականները հնարավորություն կունենան հետագայում ընդգրկվելու քաղաքային իշխանության որոշումների նախագծերում՝ իրականացման նպատակով: Նախորդ տարվա հաստատված ծրագրերից, ի դեպ, կյանքի կոչվեց շների համար հատուկ այգի կառուցելու նախագիծը:
