ՀՀ սփյուռքի գործերի գլխավոր հանձնակատար Զարեհ Սինանյանի այցը ԱՄՆ շարունակվում է: Գլխավոր հանձնակատարն այս պաշտոնում առաջին անգամ ժամանել է Չիկագո: Պատվավոր հյուպատոս Օսկար Թաթոսյանը, որի պաշտոնավորումն ընդգրկում է Իլինոյս, Միսսուրի, Այովա, Վիսկոնսին և Մինեսոտա նահանգները, դիմավորել է Գլխավոր հանձնակատարին: Պատվավոր հյուպատոսը համայնքի ակտիվ ներկայացուցիչներից է և հատկանշական դեր է խաղացել Չիկագոյի շուկա հայաստանյան ապրանքների ներմուծման գործում:

Հանձնակատարի գրասենյակից հայտնում են, որ Զարեհ Սինանյանն այցելել է Չիկագոյի կենտրոնում գտնվող Երևանի զբոսայգի: Այնուհետ Գլխավոր հանձնակատարը հանդիպել է Չիկագոյի շրջանի հայ երիտասարդների հետ և ծանոթացել նրանց գործունեությանը, կրթությանը և աշխատանքին, նաև ներկայացրել գրասենյակի գործունեությունը: Զարեհ Սինանյանը հատկապես կարևորել է ՀՀ կառավարման համակարգում սփյուռքահայ մասնագետների «իԳործ» և «Սփյուռքի երիտասարդ դեսպան» ծրագրերը: Հանդիպման մասնակիցները մեծ ոգևորություն են ցուցաբերել գրասենյակի ծրագրերի հանդեպ:

Հաջորդ հանդիպումը հանդիպումը հայ համայնքի փաստաբանների, բժիշկների և համայնքային ղեկավարների հետ էր: Հանդիպման ընթացքում ընդգրկուն քննարկում է ծավալվել Հայաստանի քաղաքական իրողությունների, օրենսդրական բարեփոխումների անհրաժեշտության և Հայաստան-սփյուռք օրակարգային հարցերի շուրջ: Զարեհ Սինանյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներին առողջ երկխոսության, համագործակցության և կատարած աշխատանքի համար:

Հաջորդ օրվա ընթացում Գլխավոր հանձնակատարը Էվանսթոնի Սուրբ Հակոբ հայկական եկեղեցում ներկա է գտնվել պատարագի, որը մատուցում էր վերապատվելի Տեր Հովհան Խոջա-Էյնաթյանը։ Պատարագից հետո եկեղեցու դահլիճում տեղի է ունեցել համայնքային հանդիպում, որի ընթացքում Գլխավոր հանձնակատարը ներկայացրել է գրասենյակի գործունեությունը և հայեցակարգային ուղղությունները, այնուհետ ներկաները հնչեցրել են իրենց հուզող հարցերը:

Զարեհ Սինանյանը հատկապես կարևորել է համայնքում եկեղեցու ունեցած հայապահպան գործունեությունը, որի շնորհիվ համայնքն արդեն 100 տարուց ավելի չի կորցրել իր ինքնությունն ու հայկական մշակույթը:

Հանդիպման ավարտին եկեղեցու երգչախումբը հանդես է եկել կատարումներով:
