Արդարադատության Նախարար Կարեն Անդրեասյանն ընդունել է ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի փոխտեղակալ Կարա ՄքԴոնալդին, Հայաստանում  ԱՄՆ դեսպան Լին Թրեյսիին և Հայաստանում  ԱՄՆ դեսպանության թմրամիջոցների դեմ պայքարի և իրավապահ համագործակցության ծրագրի տնօրեն Ալեքսիս Հաֆտվանիին:

Նախարարը գոհունակություն Է հայտնել ԱՄՆ-ի աջակցությամբ իրականացվող ծրագրերի արդյունավետության, արձանագրած արդյունքների և հայ-ամերիկյան համագործակցության բարձր մակարդակի վերաբերյալ: ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի փոխտեղակալ Կարա ՄքԴոնալդն իր հերթին պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել նոր ներդրումային ծրագրերով աջակցել Հայաստանի կառավարությանը պետական ծրագրերի իրագործման հարցում: Հատկապես կարևորվել է մեդիա դաշտի հիմնախնդիրները: ԱՄՆ ներկայացուցիչներն իրենց աջակցությունն են հայտնել Հայաստանում բարեկիրթ մեդիա հարթակ ունենալուն, որտեղ ատելության խոսքը, բռնության քարոզը և վիրավորանքը տեղ չեն ունենա, սակայն միևնույն ժամանակ չի տուժի քաղաքացիների խոսքի ազատության իրավունքը:

ԱՄՆ գործընկերներն համատեղ աշխատանքի արդյունքում ձեռքբերումներից լավագույնն են համարել Հայաստանում ժողովրդավարության առկա բարձր մակարդակը: Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանությանն ուղղված հարցեր՝ մատնանշվել են այդ ուղղությամբ կատարված աշխատանքները, ձեռքբերումները և այն բացերը որոնց օրենսդրական կարգավորման ուղղությամբ դեռ անհրաշետ է աշխատանքներ տանել:

Հանդիպման առանցքում են եղել նաև դատաիրավական համակարգի բարեփոխումները: Նախարարը ներկայացրել է դատավորների ընտրության, բարեվարքության ստուգման հարցում ունեցած ձեռքբերումները  և նշել, որ գրանցած արդյունքներով չպետք է բավարարվել և  պետք է անել հնարավորը, որպեսզի Հայաստանն ունենա իրապես բարեվարք և լիովին ապակոռումպացված դատական համակարգ:

Նախարար Անդրեասյանը ներկայացրել է նաև ոստիկանության համակարգում տեղի ունեցող բարեփոխումները, մասնավորապես՝ նոր Ներքին գործերի նախարարության ձևավորման ուղղությամբ կատարված աշխատանքները, որտեղ մեծ դերակատարում ունի նաև ամերիկյան կողմը:

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև Հայաստանում սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների ընթացքին, որի վերջնարդյունքում միայն հնարավոր կլինի հասնել թիրախային խնդիրների համապարփակ լուծմանը:

Հանդիպման ավարտին բարձր գնահատելով գրանցած արդյունքները՝ Արդարադատության նախարարության և ԱՄՆ ներկայացուցիչների միջև վերահաստատվել է վճռական կամքը՝ համատեղ ծրագրերի իրագործման և նոր ծրագրերի ուղենշման հարցում:
