Մենք ընտանիքում հիմնականում որպես հայ ենք մեծացել, մեր առաջին, մայրենի լեզուն հայերենն է։ Այս մասին հունիսի 15-ին Երեւանում  «Գիտության ե բիզնեսի օրեր» համաժողովի ժամանակ ասաց Նոբելյան մրցանակի դափնեկիր, մոլեկուլային կենսաբան Արտեմ Պատապուտյանը։

«Իմ կյանքի պատանեկության տարիները պտտվում էին Հայկական բարեգործական ընդհանուր միության շուրջ, որը, ինչպես հայկական մյուս կազմակերպությունները, նշանակալից դեր խաղաց իմ կյանքում»,- ասաց նա։

Պատապուտյանն ասաց, որ իր ծնողների ծնողներն Արեմտյան Հայաստանից Լիբանան են ներգաղթել ժամանակակից Թուրքիայից։ «Իմ տատիկներն ու պապիկները, ինչպես շատերը, ստիպված էին մեկնել նախ Սիրիա, ապա՝ Լիբանան՝ որոշ ժամանակ անցկացնելով նաեւ Կիպրոսում։ Նրանք պահպանել են իրենց հայկական ինքնությունը։ Ես ծնվել եմ Լիբանանում եւ առաջին 18 տարիներն անցկացրել եմ Բեյրութում: Երբ մենք ներգաղթեցինք ԱՄՆ, ծնողներս որոշեցին, որ ես պետք է բժշկական համալսարան ընդունվեմ, քանի որ ցանկանում էին, որ իրենց երեխաներից մեկը բժիշկ դառնա:

Ծնողներս շատ կարեւոր դեր են խաղացել իմ կյանքում, նրանք ցանկանում էին լավ կրթություն տալ ինձ եւ պնդում էին, որ դրան լուրջ վերաբերմունք ցուցաբերվի։ Սկզբում ես այնքան էլ մոտիվացված չէի սովորելու հարցում, եւ ծնողներս ինձ շատ օգնեցին»,- հավելեց գիտնականը։

Նա ընդգծեց, որ շատ կարեւոր է նաեւ արտադպրոցական կրթությունն ու դաստիարակությունը։ «Ալեք Մանուկյանի անվան ակումբում մենք զբաղվում էինք տարբեր սպորտաձեւերով, մշակութային միջոցառումներ էինք անցկացնում»,- եզրափակեց Պատապուտյանը։

Հիշեցնենք, որ Նոբելյան մրցանակը գիտնականին շնորհվել է 2021 թ.՝ հպման ընկալիչների հայտնաբերման համար։
