Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդունել է ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի եվրոպական և եվրասիական հարցերով տեղակալ Կարին Դոնդրիդին: Այս մասին հայտնում են ՀՀ վարչապետի մամուլի ծառայությունից:

Վարչապետը կարևորել է հայ-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունների շարունակական զարգացումն ու ընդլայնումը և նշել, որ տիկին Դոնդրիդի այցը ևս մեկ հնարավորություն է քննարկելու երկկողմ օրակարգային հարցերը: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը բարձր է գնահատել ԱՄՆ օժանդակությունը ՀՀ կառավարության ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումների արդյունավետ առաջ մղման գործում` հավելելով, որ ժողովրդավարության զարգացումը գործադիրի կարևորագույն առաջնահերություններից մեկն է:

Կարին Դոնդրիդի խոսքով` ԱՄՆ վարչակազմը ևս կարևորում է Հայաստանի հետ տարբեր ուղղություններով փոխգործակցության ընդլայնումն ու ամրապնդումը, ուստի ՀՀ ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտների զարգացմանն ուղղված աջակցությունը կրելու է շարունակական բնույթ:

Զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են նաև Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանում տեղի ունեցող գործընթացներին, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորմանը, Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի միջև սահմանազատման ու սահմանային անվտանգության հանձնաժողովի գործունեությանը:

Կառավարության ղեկավարը կարևորել է տարածաշրջանում կայունության և խաղաղության ամրապնդումը և ընդգծել տարածաշրջանային կայունությունը խաթարող սադրիչ հայտարարություններին ու գործողություններին միջազգային հանրության համարժեք արձագանքի անհրաժեշտությունը: Միաժամանակ, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդգծել է ԱՄՆ առանցքային դերը որպես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ պետություն և կարևորել ԼՂ հակամարտության համապարփակ կարգավորման գործընթացը ՄԽ համանախագահության շրջանակում:
