Համացանցում քննարկվում է «Սպանություններ նույն շենքում» կատակերգական-դետեկտիվ սերիալի երկրորդ սեզոնը, որտեղ Կարա Դելևինը նկարահանվել է` որպես հրավիրյալ աստղ։ Արդեն երկրորդ դրվագում նրա կերպարի՝ Էլիսի և Մեյբելի միջև, որին մարմնավորում է Սելենա Գոմեսը, կա ռոմանտիկ տեսարան՝ արվեստի մասին զրույցն ավարտվում է կրքոտ համբույրով։
«Դա զվարճալի էր։ Արդյո՞ք աշխարհում որևէ մեկը կհրաժարվի համբուրել Սելենային»,֊ասել է Կարան:

«Մենք գրեթե երբեք չենք տեսնում միմյանց, քանի որ մենք միշտ զբաղված ենք, ուստի հիանալի էր նրա հետ այդքան ժամանակ անցկացնելը, նրա հետ աշխատելը՝ անկախ նրանից՝ մենք ճանաչո՞ւմ եք միմյանց, թե՞ ոչ: Նա փայլուն է, լավագույն դերասանուհիներից մեկը, ում հետ երբևէ նկարահանվել եմ»,֊հավելել է Կարան:

Ավելի վաղ, մինչ ընթանում էին նկարահանումները, մոդելը մեկ անգամ չէ, որ իր տպավորություններով կիսվել է մամուլի հետ՝ ասելով, որ ինքն ու Սելենան նկարահանման հրապարակում «մեռնում են ծիծաղից՝ զրուցելով և բամբասելով»։

Աղջիկները միմյանց ճանաչում են 15 տարեկանից (Կարան և Սելենան նույն տարիքի են, երկուսն էլ այս ամառ կդառնան 30 տարեկան)։

Գոմեսը նույնպես խոստովանել է, որ ոգևորված է Դելևինի հետ նկարահանումներով, քանի որ «դա նման է մանկության ընկերոջ հետ աշխատելուն»:

Իրական կյանքում նրանք լավագույն ընկերներ են։ Մի քանի տարի առաջ աղջիկներին նույնիսկ սիրավեպ էին վերագրում։ Նրանք նույնիսկ միանման վարդի դաջվածքներ են արել: Երբ մի քանի տարի առաջ տաբլոիդները գրում էին աղջիկների հնարավոր սիրավեպի մասին, Սելենան ասաց, որ ինքը «դեմ չէ այդ խոսակցություններին»։

Գոնե մամուլը վերջապես խոսում է իմ կյանքի որոշ այլ մարդկանց մասին, ինչը հիանալի է,֊ասել է դերասանուհին, քանի որ նախկինում լրագրողները հիմնականում քննարկում էին Ջասթին Բիբերի հետ նրա հարաբերությունները։
