ՀՀ կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարարության աջակցությամբ, Գյումրու համայնքապետարանի և Հովհաննես Շարամբեյանի անվան ժողովրդական արվեստների թանգարանի համագործակցությամբ  հուլիսի 16-ին Գյումրիում տեղի կունենա արհեստների փառատոն, որն ավելի փոքր ձևաչափով կշարունակվի հուլիսի 17-ին, Երևանում՝ Հովհաննես Շարամբեյանի անվան ժողովրդական արվեստների թանգարանում: Այնուհետև մինչև սեպտեմբեր այդ միջոցառման շրջանակում թանգարանում պարբերաբար կանցկացվեն մշակութային միջոցառումներ՝ ժողովրդական արհեստների և արվեստների վարպետաց դասեր:

2022-ն ԱՊՀ համագործակցության երկրների կողմից հայտարարված է ժողովրդական ստեղծագործության և մշակութային ժառանգության տարի։ Գյումրիում կայանալիք «Գյումրի. վարպետաց քաղաք» փառատոնի նպատակն է մշակութային մեկ հարթակում միավորել արդի շրջանի ժողովրդական արհեստները, բարձրացնել դրանց ճանաչելիությունը և նպաստել այդ ժառանգությունը կրող ու փոխանցող անհատների ստեղծագործական առաջխաղացմանը։

Փառատոնին կմասնակցեն ժողովրդական ստեղծագործության վարպետներ Հայաստանի մի շարք համայնքներից և ԱՊՀ երկրներից, որոնք կներկայացնեն իրենց գեղարվեստական աշխատանքները և կիրականացնեն վարպետաց դասեր:

Հուլիսի 16-ին Գյումրին կդառնա արհեստների, ազգային երգ ու պարի, ավանդական զրույցների, համեղ ուտեստների և անմոռանալի զգացողությունների կենտրոն: Գորգագործության, ասեղնագործության, տիկնիկագործության, փայտագործության, խեցեգործության հարուստ մշակույթը ներկայացնող տաղավարներում այցելուները կծանոթանան Հայաստանի և ԱՊՀ երկրների ժողովուրդների արհեստագործական յուրօրինակ ավանդույթներին, կմասնակցեն վարպետաց դասերին, արհեստների շուրջ քննարկումներին, հնարավորություն կունենան ձեռք բերել ինքնատիպ հուշանվերներ: Կենտրոնական հրապարակում կազմակերպված միջոցառումներին զուգահեռ  փառատոնին կմիանան Գյումրու տարբեր մշակութային և արհեստագործական կազմակերպություններ ու անհատներ՝ ամենուրեք տարածելով վարպետաց քաղաքի շունչը։

Փառատոնը շարունակական է լինելու՝ ամեն տարի կազմակերպվելով Հայաստանի տարբեր համայնքներում՝ այդ կերպ նպաստելով ոչ միայն համայնքների ոչ նյութական մշակութային ժառանգության պահպանությանն ու փոխանցմանը, այլև խթանելով Հայաստանում մշակութային զբոսաշրջության զարգացմանը։
