Հանրապետության նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանն այսօր ընդունել է ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր ասամբլեայի նախագահ Աբդուլա Շահիդին և նրա գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը: Այս մասին հայտնում են ՀՀ նախագահի մամուլի ծառայությունից։

Ողջունելով հյուրերին նախագահ Խաչատուրյանը բարձր է գնահատել Աբդուլա Շահիդի արդյունավետ առաջնորդությունը Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 76-րդ նստաշրջանի ընթացքում:

«Ուրախ եմ ողջունել Ձեզ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում։ Ձեր այցը համընկել է Միավորված ազգերի կազմակերպությանը Հայաստանի Հանրապետության անդամակցության 30-ամյակի հետ։ Դա 1992 թվականի մարտ ամիսն էր: Սակայն դեկտեմբերին կրկին նշանավոր իրադարձություն ունենք նշելու, քանի որ ՄԱԿ-ի գրասենյակի բացումը տեղի ունեցավ 1992 թվականի դեկտեմբերին,- ասել է նախագահ Խաչատուրյանը: -Երբ ձեռք բերեցինք անկախություն ՄԱԿ-ի անդամ դառնալը մեր ցանկություններից մեկն էր, որովհետև մենք հասկանում էինք, որ մեր պետության հետագա զարգացումը առանց ՄԱԿ-ի հետ համագործակցության հնարավոր չէ: Այս 30 տարիների մեր պատմությունը ցույց տվեց, որ մենք իսկապես ՄԱԿ-ի աջակցությամբ հասել ենք հաջողությունների, որոնք մեծ նշանակություն են ունեցել մեր պետության կայացման համար: Ուզում եմ առանձնահատուկ նշել ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտների կայացումը, որում ՄԱԿ-ի դերը շատ մեծ է եղել: Այս 30 տարիների ընթացքում մեր պետությունն ակտիվորեն համագործակցել է ՄԱԿ-ի բոլոր կառույցների հետ, իրականացրել տարբեր ծրագրեր, որոնք հիմնականում ուղղված են եղել աղքատության, անհավասարությունների վերացմանը, ինչպես նաև իրավական կայուն պետության կայացմանը:

Համոզված եմ, որ Ձեր այցելությունը նպաստելու է նաև մեր հետագա համագործակցությանը, առավել ևս, որ Ձեր նախագահությունը ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 76-րդ նստաշրջանի ընթացքում տպավորիչ է, քանի որ Ձեր ջանքերն ուղղված են համավարակից հետո աշխարհում հարաբերությունների կամ տնտեսական կյանքի վերականգմանը, միջազգային հանրության համախմբմանը»:

Աբդուլա Շահիդին շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ջերմ ընդունելության համար և նշել, որ իր համար մեծ պատիվ է այցելել Հայաստան այն ժամանակահատվածում, երբ նշվում է Միավորված ազգերի կազմակերպությանը Հայաստանի Հանրապետության անդամակցության հոբելյանական 30-ամյակը: Նա ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանի հետ ունեցած բոլոր ծրագրերը կշարունակեն իրականացվել՝ ուղղված քաղաքացիների կյանքի բարելավելմանը:

Նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանը և Աբդուլա Շահիդին անդրադարձել են տարածաշրջանի անվտանգությանն ու կայունությանը վերաբերվող հարցերի: Նախագահը բարձրացրել է Ադրբեջանում մինչ օրս պահվող հայ ռազմագերիների և պահվող անձանց անհապաղ հայրենադարձությանն առնչվող հարցեր: ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր ասամբլեայի նախագահը ողջունել է խաղաղության հաստատմանն ուղղված Հայաստանի ջանքերը, նշել, որ երկարատև և կայուն խաղաղության հաստատումը լայն հնարավորություններ կստեղծի տարածաշրջանի բոլոր երկրների համար:
