Հերոսազրկված ու պետականակորուստ մեր օրերի համար, ցանկացած հայի մահ անդառնալի է։ Խորենացու ասած՝ փոքր ածու հայ ժողովրդի համար այսօր հատկապես մեկ հոգին միլիոնի նշանակություն ունի՝ բազում մարտահրավերների, փորձությունների, թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմի, աշխարհի, տարածաշրջանի, ներքին ու արտաքին թշնամու դեմ-հանդիման։

Եվ երիցս ցավալի է այնպիսի հայի կորուստը, որին առանց չափազանցության կարելի է ու պետք է նույնականացնել հայոց դարավոր ուժի, գենի, տոկոնության, սխրագործումի հետ։ 

․․․Օգոստոսի 12-ի երեկոյան դադարեց բաբախել հայ ժողովրդի պանծալի զավակ, հայ դատի պայքարի աննկուն մարտիկ, գեներալ Սեյրան Սարոյանի սիրտը, որն ապրում ու տրոփում էր հող հայրենիի, Արցախ աշխարհի, հայ ժողովրդի հույզուցավով, հոգսուհաղթանակներով։

Տաքարյուն, բայց միևնույն ժամանակ սիրալիր ու բարի, սկզբունքային, բայց միևնույն ժամանակ ներողամիտ Սեյրան Սարոյանի երկրային կյանքը տևեց ընդամենը 55 տարի, սակայն հերոսի ժամանակը վեր է կոնկրետ թվերից և խորհրդանշում է մի ամբողջ ազգի գոյության տարեգրություն։ 

Պատկերավոր ասած՝ հերոսի ժամանակը վեր է ժամանակի հերոս ձևակերպումներից, որովհետև այդ ժամանակն անչափելի է, եթե բովանդակում ենք հայրենիքի համար մատուցած նրա անձնազոհ ծառայություններով, անգնահատելի նվիրումով, և քանի դեռ հիշում, հիշատակում, գնահատում, ոգեկոչում ենք նրան՝ անկախ նրա երկրային գոյությունից։ 

Եվ այդ գնահատանքը հենց մեզ է առաջին հերթին հարկավոր, հերոսին մեծարելիս՝ բարձրացնում ենք ոչ թե նրա պատիվը, այլ վերաորակավորվում ենք ինքներս՝ իբրև արժանի ժամանակիցներ ու հայրենակիցներ։

Սեյրան Սարոյանը հենց այպիսի արժևորումի ու անժամանցելի հարգանքի, ակնածանքի արժանի Հայորդի է, որի անունը դրոշմվել է Հայ ժողովրդի ազատագրական պայքարի, գոյության անխամրելի Պատմագրքում ․․․

Փա՛ռք քո հայրենավեր գործին ու կյանքին
Եվ թո՛ղ ապրած տարիներդ մեզ դաս լինեն, իսկ չապրած տարիները՝ պարտավորություն, հոգու պարտք՝ Հասնելու Քո և Մեր բաղձալի Արշալույսին՝ Հայոց Ավետյաց հաղթանակին ու երկրին․․․
