Կյանքի օրոք ես բախտ չեմ ունեցել ճանաչել Տարոն Անդրեասյանին, և ինչպես դուք բոլորդ, նրա մասին իմացել եմ տելեգրամյան ալիքում հրապարակված անհավանական կադրերից։ Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքի իր էջում գրել է հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանը.«Տարոնը մեկն էր այն բազմաթիվ հայորդիներից, որ կամավոր մեկնել էր պատերազմ, սակայն մեկն այն քչերից, ով ոչ միայն հրաժարվել էր նահանջել, այլ միայնակ որոշել էր կանգնեցել թշնամուն, և իր ու հայրենիքի պատիվը վեր դասելով կյանքից, զոհաբերել էր այն գիտակցաբար և անվարան, ահ ու սարսափ պատճառելով թշնամուն։

Հետադարձ գնահատելով Տարոնի սխրանքը, կարելի է պնդել, որ եթե բոլորս, կամ գոնե մեր մեծամասնությունն ունենար Տարոնի անձնվեր գիտակցությունը, մենք կհաղթեինք այս պատերազմում, ինչպես հաղթել էինք նախորդում, այսօր էլ չէինք ապրի պարտվածի խարանով, հաղթողը պարբերաբար չէր ստորացնի մեզ նոր ոտնձգություններով և զիջումների պահանջով։ Ցավոք, այս անգամ այդպես չստացվեց, Տարոնները մնացին փոքրամասնության մեջ, և իրենց կյանքով հատուցեցին մեծամասնության անտարբերության, նյութապաշտության և վախերի համար։

Մենք սակայն Տարոնի հիշատակի առաջ անանց պարտք ունենք։ Եթե մենք ցանկանում ենք, որ նրա սխրանքն իմաստավորվի, որպեսզի նրա թափված արյունից նոր ծիլեր դուրս գան, որպեսզի մեր ազգը հարատևի՝ մենք մեր զավականերին պետք է դաստիարակենք տարոնաբար՝ անձնվեր, խիզախ և հայրենասեր։ Մեր զավակներն արդեն պետք է շրջեն պատմության այս մռայլ էջը, միասին նոր հաղթանակներ կռեն, թոթափեն պարտվողի խարանը, և հավերժացնեն Տարոն Անդրեասյանի, և բազմաթիվ հայտնի և անհայտ Տարոնների հիշատակը։

Հավերժ փառք քեզ, Տարոն Անդրեասյան, փառք քո ապրած կյանքին և քո անմահ սխրանքին, և խորին խոնարհում քեզ ծնած և սնած ծնողներին»:
