Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը հայտարարեց, որ 24 միլիոն դրամ վճարելու պայմանով պարտադիր զինվորական ծառայությունից վաղաժամկետ արձակելու նախագիծն արհեստավարժ բանակ ունենալու հնարավորություն կտա։ Լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցում Ալեն Սիմոնյանը ասաց, որ Հայաստանը պետք է ունենա հզոր և արհեստավարժ բանակ։

«Եվ գիտեք, այսօր շատ ու շատ մարդիկ մինչ օրս տարբեր ձևակերպումներով ազատվել են բանակից։ Եվ, կարծում եմ, այդ գումարը մեզ թույլ կտա շատ ավելի արհեստավարժ բանակ ունենալ և շատ ավելի պրոֆեսիոնալ զինվորականներ ունենալ»,- ասաց Սիմոնյանը։

Հարցին՝ նախագծի իրագործման արդյունքում բանակայինների թիվը կավելանա, թե կնվազի, Սիմոնյանը պատասխանեց.

«Մեկ զինվորի՝ նման ճանապարհով ազատվելը հնարավորություն կտա մեզ երկու արհեստավարժ զինվորական ունենալ»։

Պաշտպանության նախարարությունն առաջարկում է շարքային կազմի պարտադիր զինվորական ծառայության ուսումնական փուլը լրանալուց հետո (միջինը՝ չորսուկես ամիս), զինծառայողի կողմից ՀՀ պետական բյուջե 24 միլիոն դրամ վճարելու պայմանով՝ վաղաժամկետ արձակել պարտադիր զինվորական ծառայությունից։ «Զինվորական ծառայության և զինծառայողի կարգավիճակի մասին» օրենքում փոփոխություններ և լրացումներ կատարելու մասին օրենքի նախագիծը պաշտպանական գերատեսչությունը հանրային քննարկման է դրել իրավական ակտերի նախագծերի հրապարակման միասնական կայքում։
