Ադրբեջանը որեւէ ձեւով տրամադրված չէ մեր տարածաշրջանում խաղաղություն հաստատելու գործընթացով, ամեն ձեւով փորձում է տորպեդահարել այն: Այս մասին Հանրային Հեռուստաընկերության հետ հարցազրույցում ասել է Հայաստանի Անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղար Արմեն Գրիգորյանը:

Նա հիշեցրեց, որ Բրյուսելում կայացած Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների հանդիպմանը եղել է պայմանավորվածություն, որպեսզի խաղաղության բանակցություններ սկսեն ԱԳՆ-ների մակարդակով. «Հայաստանը պատրաստվում էր մեկ ամսվա ընթացքում այդ հանդիպումը կազմակերպել եւ մեր բոլոր գործընկերների հետ հենց դա էինք քննարկում: Եվ այդ հանդիպումը կազմակերպելու փոխարեն Ադրբեջանը լայնածավալ ագրեսիա է կազմակերպում ՀՀ-ի նկատմամբ»:

Հարցին, թե որն է Ադրբեջանի նպատակը, Արմեն Գրիգորյանը պատասխանեց. «Նախ տորպեդահարել խաղաղության գործընթացը, դուրս գալ բոլոր պայմանավորվածություններից, որոնք գոյություն են ունեցել, որովհետեւ վերջին 2 տարվա ընթացքում պայմանավորվածություններ են եղել, որոնք հրապարակային են: Օրինակ, խաղաղության բանակցությունները, ԼՂ խնդրի լուծման բանակցություններ սկսելը, տարածշրջանի ապաշրջափակումը, սահմանների դեմարկացիան ու դելիմիտացիան: Այդ պայմանավորվածությունները կատարելու փոխարեն Ադրբեջանը ագրեսիա է սկսում, ամբողջովին տորպեդահարում գոյություն ունեցող բոլոր ֆորմատները:

Իսկ ռազմի դաշտում ուզում է ՀՀ սուվերեն տարածք ներխուժել եւ գրավել տարածքը: Ադրբեջանը չի թաքցնում Հայաստանի սուվերեն տարածքի նկատմամբ իր նկրտումները»:

Անդրադառնալով հայոց բանակի ռազմական կարողություններին, նա սաց. «Մեր բանակը շրունկում է դիմադրել եւ փորձել պաշտպանել իր սովերեն տարածքը, շարունակելու է կատարել իր առջեւ դրված բոլոր խնդիրները:

Առաջին հերթին մեր զինված ուժերը պետք է պատասխան տան եւ թույլ չտան, որ Ադրբեջանը շարունակի իր ագրեսիան: Բնականաբար կան նաեւ միջազգային գործիքներ, որոնք բազմազան են: Մենք դրանցից երեքը արդեն գործարկել ենք: Բացի դրանից տեղյակ եք, որ Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիայի հենց առաջին րոպեից սկսած վարչապետը ինտենսիվ կապի մեջ է բոլոր գործընկերների հետ, քննարկում ենք լուծումներ գտնելու համար:Մեր գործընկերների կողմից հստակ հայտարարություններ կան Ադրբեջանին, որ դադարեցնի ագրեսիան եւ դուրս բերի իր զորքերը Հայաստանի տարածքից»:
