Մեր երկիրը հերթական անգամ բախվել է դաժան և բացահայտ ագրեսիայի. Ադրբեջանի ռազմաքաղաքական նպատակները պարզ ու հասկանալի են, բայց դրանց հասնելու համար նա պետք է կարողանա մեզ ստիպել հանձնվել և դադարել հավատալ ինքներս մեզ: Այս մասին հայտարարություն է տարածել ՀՀ նախկին նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը:

«Մենք չենք կարող թույլ տալ, որ հակառակորդը հասնի իր նպատակին: Այս պահին բոլորս պետք է դրսևորենք մեր գլխավոր որակները՝ տոկունություն և հավատ սեփական ուժերի հանդեպ: Այսպիսի պահերին չկա ոչ մի «ես» կա միայն «մենք»՝ որպես մի ամբողջություն՝ համախմբված մեկ միասնական նպատակի շուրջ՝ պաշտպանել մեր պետականությունը:

Միաժամանակ, անհրաժեշտ է շարունակել ակտիվորեն աշխատել մեր օտարերկրյա բարեկամների և դաշնակիցների հետ, միջազգային հանրությանը հասցնել տեղի ունեցողի ողջ էությունը և հետագա գործողությունների ռազմավարություն կառուցել:

Ինքս անում եմ ամեն ինչ մեր միջազգային գործընկերներին ադրբեջանական ագրեսիայի մասին ողջ ճշմարտությունը և իրականությունը ներկայացնելու ուղղությամբ:

30 տարի առաջ մենք կրկին գտնվում էինք նույնքան բարդ իրավիճակում, սակայն կարողացանք դրանից դուրս գալ արժանապատվորեն՝ դառնալով հաղթող: Վստահ եմ, որ եթե այսօր կարողանանք դրսևորել մեր բոլոր լավագույն որակները՝ միանշանակ կհաղթահարենք նաև այս ճգնաժամը»:
