ՄԱԿ ԳԱ 77-րդ նստաշրջանին մասնակցելու նպատակով Նյու Յորքում գտնվող ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը հանդիպում է ունեցել Ֆինլանդիայի ԱԳ նախարար Պեկկա Հաավիստոյի հետ։ Այս մասին հայտնեցին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունից: 

Արարատ Միրզոյանը Պեկկա Հաավիստոյին է ներկայացրել Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանության ու տարածքային ամբողջականության դեմ Ադրբեջանի ռազմական ագրեսիայի հետևանքով ստեղծված իրավիճակը։ ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարն իր գործընկերոջ ուշադրությունն է հրավիրել ադրբեջանական զինուժի կողմից քաղաքացիական բնակչության և ենթակառուցվածքների թիրախավորման, ՄԱԿ կանոնադրության, Հելսինկյան եզրափակիչ ակտի և միջազգային հումանիտար իրավունքի կոպիտ խախտումներին: 

Հրադադարի ռեժիմի պահպանման և նոր ագրեսիայի բացառման համատեքստում նախարար Միրզոյանն ընդգծել է միջազգային հանրության կողմից ադրբեջանական ագրեսիայի հստակ և հասցեական դատապարտման կարևորությունը և կանխարգելիչ գործուն քայլերի իրականացումը։

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի միջև հարաբերությունների, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման գործընթացին։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերը մտքեր են փոխանակել Հայաստանի և Ֆինլանդիայի միջև համագործակցության հետագա զարգացման շուրջ։
