ԱՄՆ Հետաքննությունների դաշնային բյուրոն մեղադրել է ամուսիններին՝ ԱՄՆ-ի բժշկական մայոր Ջեյմի Լի Հենրիին և նրա կնոջը՝ բժիշկ Աննա Գաբրիելյանին, դավադրության մեջ՝  ռուսական իշխանություններին գաղտնի տեղեկություն փոխանցելու համար: Նրանք ծրագրել էին Ռուսաստանին փոխանցել ամերիկյան ռազմական հոսպիտալի հիվանդների մասին գաղտնի տեղեկությունները, հաղորդում է BBC-ն։

Նրանք, իբր, ՀԴԲ-ի գաղտնի գործակալին ասել են, որ իրենց հիմնական շարժառիթը Ռուսաստանի հանդեպ հայրենասիրական զգացմունքներն են։

Մեղադրյալի փաստաբանները, ինչպես նաև Ռուսաստանի ներկայացուցիչները դեռևս չեն մեկնաբանել։

Մայոր Հենրին դարձավ ԱՄՆ բանակի առաջին հայտնի ծառայող սպան, ով հայտարարել է, որ տրանսգենդեր է այն բանից հետո, երբ 2015 թվականին նրան օրինականորեն թույլ տվեցին փոխել իր անունը և սեռը: Նույն թվականին Հենրին և Գաբրիելյանն ամուսնացան։

Բալթիմորի (Մերիլենդ) դատարանում ներկայացված մեղադրական եզրակացության մեջ, որը հայտարարվել է հինգշաբթի, Ջեյմի Լի Հենրին և Աննա Գաբրիելյանը մեղադրվում են դավադրության մեջ՝ գաղտնի բժշկական տեղեկությունը Ռուսաստանի իշխանություններին փոխանցելու համար:

Ըստ դատախազների՝ զույգը, հայրենասիրական նկատառումներից ելնելով, ցանկացել է օգնել Ռուսաստանի կառավարությանը «տեղեկություն ստանալ բանակի և ԱՄՆ կառավարության հետ կապված անձանց առողջական վիճակի մասին»։

Մայոր Հենրին ծառայել է Հյուսիսային Կարոլինայի Ֆորտ Բրեգ խոշոր ռազմաբազայում: Մեղադրական եզրակացության մեջ ասվում է, որ նա մտադրվել է օգտագործել գաղտնի տեղեկատվության հասանելիության իր իրավունքը՝ Ֆորտ Բրեգ հիվանդանոցի, ինչպես նաև մեկ այլ անանուն բժշկական հաստատության հիվանդների բժշկական գրառումներին ծանոթանալու համար:

Բժիշկ Գաբրիելյանն իր հերթին աշխատել է Բալթիմորի Ջոնս Հոփկինսի հիվանդանոցում և, ենթադրաբար, մի քանի ամիս առաջ՝ Ուկրաինա ռուսական ռազմական ներխուժման սկսվելուց հետո, օգնություն է առաջարկել Վաշինգտոնում Ռուսաստանի դեսպանատանը։

Օգոստոսի կեսերին նրա հետ կապվել է մի մարդ, ով ներկայացել է որպես Ռուսաստանի դեսպանատան աշխատակից, բայց իրականում եղել է ՀԴԲ գործակալ:

Իրենց հանդիպման ժամանակ, ըստ մեղադրական եզրակացության, բժիշկ Գաբրիելյանը գործակալին ասել է, որ «Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ հայրենասիրության զգացումով դրդված՝ պատրաստ է նրան ցուցաբերել ցանկացած օգնություն, նույնիսկ եթե դա իր համար նշանակում է աշխատանքից ազատում կամ ազատազրկում»։

Գաբրիելյանը մեղադրվում է իր ամուսնուն դավադրության մեջ ներգրավելու և գործակալին ասելու համար, որ իրեն հասանելի է ամերիկյան ռազմաբազայում գտնվող բժշկական տեղեկատվությունը և գիտի, թե ինչպես են զինվորականները պատրաստում օգնություն ցուցաբերել Ուկրաինային։

Նույն օրը նոր հանդիպման ժամանակ մայոր Հենրին գաղտնի գործակալին ասել է, որ ինքը նույնպես դրդված Ռուսաստանի հանդեպ հայրենասիրության զգացումով՝ պատրաստ է միանալ ռուսական զինված ուժերին:

Նշվում է, որ բժիշկ Գաբրիելյանը արդեն օգոստոսի վերջին գործակալին փոխանցել է գաղտնի տեղեկությունների մի մասը։
