«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Բերդ խոշորացված համայնքում իշխանության նախաձեռնած քրեական հետապնդումները շարունակվելու են, որպեսզի ճնշումներով հասնեն նրան, որ զավթեն համայնքային իշխանությունը, ինչպես արեցին Վանաձորում։

Հիշեցնենք, որ սեպտեմբերի 25-ին ՔՊ-ն Բերդում խայտառակ պարտություն է կրել։ «Զորավոր համայնք» դաշինքը` գործող համայնքապետ, մոտ մեկ տարի կալանավորված Հարություն Մանուչարյանի գլխավորությամբ, մոտ 1500 ձայն ավելի է ստացել ՔՊ-ից։ Եվ մանդատները բաշխվել են այսպես․ «Զորավոր համայնք»՝ 11, ՔՊ՝ 8, «Արժանապատիվ սերունդ»՝ 2 մանդատ։ Մանուչարյանը կալանավորված է, ուստի չի կարող ներկա գտնվել եւ քվեարկել ավագանու նիստում, որտեղ համայնքապետ պետք է ընտրվի։ Այսինքն՝ ԶՀ-ն փաստացի 10 մանդատ ունի։ Երեկ կալանավորվեց նաեւ համայնքապետի ԺՊ Սամվել Հովսեփյանը, ով ավագանու ցուցակի 2-րդ համարն է։ Այսինքն՝ Քննչական կոմիտեի միջոցով ուժերի հարաբերակցությունը դարձրին 9/10։

Եթե Հովսեփյանին չձերբակալեին, Մանուչարյանը կարող էր ինքնաբացարկ հայտնել, ցուցակից նոր մարդ կմտներ եւ 11 ձայնով կընտրեին համայնքապետ։ Իսկ սրանով ամեն ինչ արվում է, որ իշխանությունը խլեն հաղթած ուժից։ Հոկտեմբերի 10-ին նշանակված է ավագանու առաջին նիստը, ԶՀ-ն, ըստ ամենայնի, չի ներկայանա նիստին, եւ քվորումի բացակայության պատճառով նիստ չի կայանա։ Իշխանությունը որոշել է ճնշումների միջոցով մեկ մարդ գողանալ ընդդիմությունից եւ համայնքապետ ընտրել։ Իսկ հակառակ պարագայում՝ 20 օրից Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն իր ուզած մարդուն կնշանակի համայնքապետի ԺՊ»:
