 Բարձրագույն դատական խորհրդի անդամի թեկնածու Կարեն Անդրեասյանը վստահության քվե ստանալուց հետո խոստանում է լինել ԲԴԽ անդամներից մեկը, ով կգործի արդար:«Արդար դատարանը միշտ եղել է իմ երազանքը և սա ի վերջո այդ երազանքին մոտենալու հնարավորություն է:  ԲԴԽ-ում մի քանի շատ արդար մարդիկ սպասում են, որ արդար ձայների քանակն այնտեղ ավելանա: Ես գնում եմ դառնալու այդ մեկ ավել ձայնն այն կշեռքում, որը կշռելու է դեպի արդարություն: Մենք մաքրելու ենք դատական համակարգն անարդարությունից»,- այս մասին Ազգային ժողովի արտահերթ նիստում ասաց Բարձրագույն դատական խորհրդի անդամի թեկնածու Կարեն Անդրեասյանը:

 Նա նշեց, որ ներկայիս քաղաքական իշխանությունը բազմաթիվ անգամներ պնդել է, որ այն աշխատանքի արդյունքները, որոնք արվել են դատական համակարգում, բավարար չեն:

«Ես փորձել եմ նպաստել դատական համակարգի, դատարանների լավը լինելուն:  Շատ ավելի քաղաքական զսպվածություն եմ խոստանում նաև հետագա իմ ելույթներում, ինչը նաև պարտավոր եմ համապատասխան էթիկայի շրջանակներում: Ինձ համար չի լինելու քաղաքականություն այն պահից հետո, երբ ինձ կվստահեք այդ պաշտոնը»,-ասաց նա՝ հավելելով, որ եթե 2013 թվականի դատական համակարգի ամենամեծ խոցը համատարած կաշառակերությունն էր, հիմա համատարած ուշացումներն են:

«Մենք պետք է թեթևացնենք դատավորների ծանրաբեռնվածությունն այնքան, որ նրանք ինքնակրթման գոնե մի փոքր ժամանակ ունենան: Կառավարության ծրագրում արդեն իսկ հստակ դրված է մասնագիտացված դատարանների ստեղծումը: Մենք պետք է ունենանք կարգապահական հստակ միջոցներ»,-նշեց Անդրեասյանը:

Արձագանքելով մամուլում տարածված լուրերին, թե Կարեն Անդրեասյանը մասնավոր իրավաբանական  ընկերության սեփականատեր է և չի կարող ԲԴԽ անդամ դառնալ՝ ԲԴԽ անդամի թեկնածուն հորդորեց լրագրողներին հրապարակումներ անելուց առաջ  ճշտել:

«Ես երբեք չեմ եղել այդ իրավաբանական ընկերության բաժնետեր, որի մասին գրված է: Այդ ընկերությունում իմ կինն ունի բաժնեմաս: Կան ԲԴԽ անդամի գործունեության շատ հստակ կանոններ շահերի բախման դեպքերում: ԲԴԽ-ն դատում է դատավորներին, և հետևաբար բոլոր այն գործերը, որտեղ կլինի շահերի բախում, ինքնաբացարկ կհայտնեմ և չեմ լինի նրանց դատավոր»,-ընդգծեց Անդրեասյանը:
