Ամերիկյան արտադրության MIM-23 Hawk զենիթահրթիռային համակարգերը (SAM), որոնք նախատեսված են Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերին փոխանցել, կարող են տհաճ «անակնկալ» դառնալ Կիևի համար Վաշինգտոնից, գրում է РИА Новости-ն։

Ըստ գործակալության կողմից հարցված փորձագետների՝ Կիևին MIM-23 Hawk մատակարարելու պատրաստակամությունը բացատրվում է նրանով, որ այդ համակարգերը զգալիորեն հնացած են ժամանակակից հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգերի համեմատ: Մասնավորապես, ռազմական փորձագետ Ալեքսեյ Լեոնկովը նշում է, որ Եվրոպան և ԱՄՆ-ն չեն ցանկանում մատակարարել Կիևի պահանջած NASAMS համակարգերը, քանի որ այդ զենքերը ռուսական բանակի ձեռքն ընկնելու մեծ ռիսկի տակ են։

Միևնույն ժամանակ, MIM-23 Hawk-ը հանդիսանում են S-125 Neva համակարգերի անալոգները, որոնք շահագործման են հանձնվել Խորհրդային բանակի հետ 1961 թվականին և շահագործումից հանվել 90-ականներին։ Նշվում է, որ MIM-23 Hawk-ը ռազմական հակամարտությունների մեծ փորձ ունի, բայց նույնիսկ ԱՄՆ Զինված ուժերում դրանք պահեստ են ուղարկվել 2002 թվականին։ Հայտնի չէ, թե քանի հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգ է աշխատել այդ ժամանակվանից:
